This is an electric remix I did of Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower. This was part of my term 4 remix project at Alchemea Schools of Sound Engineering.

All Vocals and Harmonica are taken from the original song. I added Electric guitars, drums, synths and stuff etc!

I was playing with a band that wanted to do some old funk tunes but I wasn't in love with the songs they chose so I wrote a funk song myself. 

It wasn't a genre that I was familiar with but I had a lot of fun with it. 

The basic structure is pretty simple but getting on the beat has taken a whole year of practice. You don't think about funk - you feel it. It's a gas when you get into it.
