Born in a trailer park
in Cleveland's East side
From the first day of birth
he wished he'd died
His father fought in Vietnam
wished his son a better life
Gave the kid a comic book,
said heroes conquer strife
 
Hey kid, you've always been the underdog
Yet you walk on, in spite of it all
Through all the pain
The suffering and woe
Just like a comic book hero
 
Kid grew into a man
on the streets that are so cold
Bottle was his only friend
 left him warn and old
Women and love are not real life
so the kid tried suicide
Somehow before the end
he found a reason not to die
 
Kid's always down to fight
 when honor is on the line
Never did see him cry ‘til
the day his father died
Somehow he finds the will

Underdog

We set out on the road to find out what it holds...test the fabric of our souls and to realize
We planned for distant goals, couldn't wait to go but the feeling inside it was volatile
We set out from our home determination grown believing infinity was possible
Learning as we roam, from the river's undertow to swim with the flow of the waters

Unite

Born on the storm-battered industrial-wasteland of Lake Erie’s shores, Cleveland metal titans Deadiron find themselves on the precipice of change. Since their inception in 2010, the five-piece endured struggles that would have broken many. Dire economic conditions, line-up changes, and a political climate rife with tension have torn apart many a band, but those elements only forged members Alexander Van Ness, Tyler Harvey, John Bennett, Thomas Walling, and Kenny Streza into a unit bound and determined for musical domination. Those caustic ingredients, married with the varied music influences and shared discipline of the quintet, have given birth to Deadiron’s signature sound: a thunderous blend of hope and ferocity as melodic as it is pummeling. Charging down a path the likes of which only they can tread, Deadiron stands poised to lay siege to the music scene wherever their banner will sail.
