"We're Fucked!" performed by Dead Leslie, newest addition to the S. Oregon Thrash Metal scene was formed from the ashes of the Rogue Valley metal cover band "Rogue to Ruin" after disbanding in 2016. Chris Fadness (bass/vocals), re-unified with Texas born thrash metal guitarist and writer of  this track Adam "Rogue"(Rodriguez) in 1993, and the addition of lead vocalist and drummer extraordinaire, Greg G. of California then created the thrash metal trio "DEAD LESLIE" heralding out of Grants Pass, OR,. 

Working on their first E.P. only  10 months after formation, the crew of 3 veteran "metal heavies" aspire to achieve speed metal greatness unmatched by any, and hope to achieve that goal in a local metal scene rich with extreme talent and humble but thrash worthy internationally known metal gods.  

In S. Oregon, the local metal venues to play are of the highest quality and which offer a rich spectrum low bassey tones and superb writing styles with complicated and extremely well performed sets of original metal and the like genres so the competition is high. None the less the death metal/thrash/alternative metal/punk rock scene demands a sacrifice of talent on a regular basis and the Rogue Valley culture and citizens do love their metal!  
"The foundations of tribe are so rich and warm here, you could sleep on BLM for a week and feel like you just went to Burning Man", Adam describes and goes on to mention himself as ..."a member who is cursed to a life of listening to other's music instead being able to really play his own".  
"I  only just barely get warmed up near about the end of our two hour a week rehearsals", he declares.  
Chris who knows all the church modes and can tell you what key your singing in without a tuner also knows the ins and outs of song structures that catches the mind's interest. "There is a sweet spot even in thrash metal that your average hard ass, mosh pitting crazy head banger will feel a pull from hearing it when he does and there ain't no getting around that", he proclaims with enthusiasm. "That's our job to make it happen for everyone looking for musical awesomeness". 
Greg, --being a perfect metronome, has the difficult problem of learning how NOT to be perfectly on time to gain an insight into what the adrenaline is doing to the song, not the brain.
"We are the band who's writing style often 'sharpens the trident's blades' after they have been dulled from too much listening to other people's music and not ours.", Adam intercedes afterward pausing in reflection of what he just said. 
"Thank the Gods for the freedom of original music, radical inspirations, and the... " he stopped, peeling the 2 mm thick dead skin from his left index finger. "lack of man's innate need to provide useless opinions about how other people's songs should go".

The band, while in the studio recording the trio's first E.P. to be released in coming months near Sept 2019, this song was "made to rise from the ashes of my past attempts to be good at guitar", Adam reflected on his old band "Isolation" out of Eugene, when explains he wrote the song "We're Fucked" then took it to Topanga Canyon, CA where he was allowed to record it for the first time at Skyline Studios, then, only now re-claiming it years later in 2019, while playing in his newest band Dead Leslie who carefully re-created it from the underground metal scene of yesteryear.
Hacking your brain with chunks of steel and iron from in the Viking and Norse halls of Valhalla and forged of pure metal and Dead Leslie was made as was Mjölnir in the blistering hot sounds of impossibility of lightning fast drums of Greg G., precise low tones and driving bass guitar by Chris Fadness, and the black hot metal guitars of Adam  Rogue, you will find this track and band to be nothing short of exhilarating. Dead Leslie is a contemporary three-piece "Thrash Metal" band based in Grants Pass, OR., USA who perform live regularly across the Southern Oregon area. Given a specific genre of Crossover/Thrash Metal/Death with elements of Grunge, Dead Leslie are always interested in performing as often as possible and ready to entertain and support  the underground music scene . Currently, they are un-signed and are regular frequent attendees and performers in the local Southern Oregon Metal Scene and they are committed to continue to actively give the best live shows anyone has seen. 

"I'd like to say that we emerged from the ruins of musical existentialism. I was entrenched in perpetual dark thoughts, and a deprivation of creative freedom, coupled together with a stagnation of art and a self-perpetuating state of mental and eternally self-fulfilling prophecy of never expressing one's self. Or certainly an eventual quagmire of life as an artist and the extreme lack thereof", Adam explained. "Dead Leslie saved me from that loss and as one member, I'm a believer and follower of a very specific kind of agnostic political view. Where I fully believe and can actually see a world that continually edges towards a post-war self-destructive chaotic state in which mankind becomes the butt of everyone's joke instead of the demigod-like state we enjoy now. 
Now I've somehow gotten a reprieve where I can become somewhat of a mainstay of Thrash Metal music in our arena. 

Our primary musical goals are to stay a three-piece, play at a level that keeps us happy, and to get out there and spread the heavy death metal warrior mentallity coupled with the eminent darkness that surrounds us at every moment. 

We have done some of that so far and we will continue to terrorize in the S.O Metal scene as often as we can. 

Dead Leslie (our mascot) is a beautiful undead  ex-stripper ghoul zombie who we think manifests the spirit of Lilith, the banshee Succubus who steals the children in the night and seduces men everywhere. Leslie is the main character in her own life story. Being Dead, Dead Leslie's demise (however likely), was not an accident. But her spirit will forever live in hearts and in our shows that we bring to you.

Our music has been characterized as; 

"..."Original Thrash Metal", the likes of which we've not heard since the mid 1990's but with a modern attack and with precise time changes, and which often mix around with fast heavy guitars and death metal vocals. Along with it you get seasoned dark heavy basslines, awesome backup vocals, and songs that complete ideas and that are short enough for radio, but distasteful and have a twisted death or black metal ambiance to them. They are way too heavy to ever be in the main-stream music. Some of the best music we have down here(Oregon)".
