@murdryck: No its not EQ matched. Simply a good profile of a 5153 including a HM2 pedal

It sounds similar to the tone on the Converge cover featuring Tompa, yet with the spice of HM-2's nasality on the original but of course with a more modern + meaty approach. The original was recorded with a HM-2 cocked in front of a Peavey Bandit combo, and I think the HM-2 is almost maxed out, like 9'ish out of 10. Great tone though, I think it would be awesome for a d-beat influenced crust/grind band.
