In gratitude to the Great Spirit, and to all the medicine men who create songs and prayers to ensure that life continues to manifest according to the Creator's wishes, I share something that might seem irreverent to some. My intention is merely to unveil what has been kept hidden by others. We live in the information age, and I believe that as we continue to share more songs and prayers, more of us will rise to defend these traditions. Some may want to keep these spiritual practices hidden, in an effort to maintain control and prevent the awakening of consciousness. But I'm not tempted to hoard what isn't even mine. These songs, these prayers, came to me at some point on my journey, and today I choose to share them as offerings to the Great Spirit. Ate wakatanka unsi ulapo mitakuye ob waci yelo.
