probably one of the best songs i've ever made for denyoukai, maybe even in general. i just knew it had to be a single. i recorded it in late hours (or technically early hours since it was like midnight) and had lots of fun making it, it was probably the most fun i've had making a song. the idea was to make an atmospheric footwork type song with some breakbeats, similar to artists like glitchtrode or bye2. i messed around, tried to make an acid sounding arpeggio later on but it ended up turning into a sloshy icicle sound which fit way better than my original, neurofunk-type idea for the breakdown.

i was also watching some videos from this youtube content creator named huggbees who had a good sense of humor, which added onto it. the title for this song is actually a reference to how he goes over different sayings in different areas. like how some people call sunshowers "the devil beating his wife", others call it "the wolf is giving birth", and some people for whatever reason call it "pineapple rain". weird i know lol

this is the brainchild of my convoluted ideas.

i started this track on november of 2023, i was bored and just started to add some samples, at first it would be a generic drum and bass song, until i started to think why not add ambient elements, i love nature, forest, birds, rain, water flowing, etc so why not. i just wanted to make this sort of spiritual feeling that we usually attach to nature.
