I started off with a light and airy synth tune and felt like it really needed some funky acid 303 and old school Detroit techno style drums under it.  What I came up with is a mix of experimental techno and acid house.

I hope you find it refreshing, reinvigorating, and infinitely dance-able.  This track debuted as part of a new music podcast called "Splitwire" that aims to showcase as yet unreleased songs by fresh talents in techno, house, jungle, and vaporwave.

Growing up in Solingen near Cologne and Düsseldorf, I had some fantastic club experiences. 
My great passion is dancing. I started mixing during the pandemic in June 21 and now I play for many radio stations, including Radio Kosmos Berlin, Techneck Techno & Tech House, Profound Radio UK and 365 FM Radio. Guest mix on NDC Radio UK. I love house music in all its genres and of course techno. I express my love of music in my sets, which are always very impulsive and full of energy. The groove just has to be right. I produced my first song with a good friend Hardvalley in 2025. I have my own club series on Sundays in a cultural association here in my city Waldmeister e.V. Mohamed Hammad—known professionally as DEAF LION—is an Egyptian electronic music producer, DJ, remixer, songwriter, and singer. Hailing from the rich cultural landscape of Egypt, he seamlessly integrates the vibrant essence of his heritage into his music. DEAF LION's productions reflect the dynamic sounds of electronic dance music, showcasing his innovative spirit and willingness to experiment with diverse artistic expressions. His unique background inspires a captivating listening experience, bridging tradition and contemporary soundscapes.


From his very early childhood, he had a curiosity about learning how to play musical instruments. He started learning about musical terms and instruments. At the age of 9, he was able to play the drums very skillfully. After a few years, he discovered the music-making software " DAW " and started learning music production basics. It was until 2015 he started sending his music to dance music labels and this changed his overall perception about the modern music business and he was more than interested to make new music. With almost 5 years in contact with dance music, Hammad has signed a lot of records with top labels like ” Deep Strips ” Rivaside Records ”.


Deaf Lion house sounds are very characteristic, peculiar. His bass line conversation with a kick is always an analog collaboration. He signed with some of the most famous Major Record Labels Like Juicy Music Records under Armada Music, Black Lizard Records, Transa Records, Exx Muzik Records, Groover Records, GFH 66 Records,  Reluxe Records and many more. 

Deaf Lion is making his mark on the dance music world at the moment.
