A Psychedelic project of Dean Clark


Dean was born in Southport, QLD, Australia in the mid 80’s. His parents then moved to regional NSW and spent a good deal of time on a small farm caring for animals and gardens. 

When he was 4 years old his father put a ukulele in his hands and thus began Dean’s journey into the realm of music and expression. By the time he was 6 he was playing chords and strumming alongside his father with ease. Fast forwarding a few years to his teens, Dean had become an adept guitarist writing his own songs and playing many covers, also becoming a multi instrumentalist, picking up piano, violin, drums and the saxophone along the way.

Dean became very interested in gaming, movies and how music played a vital and heavy part in how things were portrayed, piquing his curiosity into branching out of his normal genres of metal and rock, including bands like Tool, Fear Factory, System of a Down, Deftones, A Perfect Circle and so on. Discovering bands like Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix, the world of synthesizers and psychedelic effects had grabbed his full attention, leading to the discovery of EDM and Psychedelic Trance.

As soon as he experienced his first bush doof, Dean knew this is what he wanted to do. Creating psychedelic soundscapes that people can lose themselves in and dance their troubles away to. When he was 25 he downloaded his first DAW, FL Studio and began teaching himself through YouTube videos and asking friends who also found a love of producing electronic music. After a few years of this he changed to Ableton, and instantly felt more comfortable with how he was able to create his sound within this DAW. 

Dean has since been developing his style and sounds, growing his knowledge and constantly learning how to improve, currently producing music as PsyberTrain, Dean hopes to make a solid name for himself in the genre and connect with as many people as possible!
