Following last week’s latest Formula release, we return to our F2 digital offshoot and Tuff Culture’s emotively laden modern blend of house and bass.

Pure summertime vibrations are the call of the day for the aptly named ‘Solar’, a track that goes out of it’s way to fools the listener into a breezy warmth with an intro dripping with soul-drenched vocal edits and sparkling keys. What follows is a concoction of stripped drum work and deadly sub rumblings as Tuff Culture weaves between light and dark, allowing the chopped low end to do the talking.

‘Desire’ repeats the trick with an epic introduction that nods to nineties house music in the rhythm track whilst creating a robotic duet between robotic male and female voices that has a touch of the big room anthem styling to it, before settling into a piano laden breakdown that fans of Tuff Culture’s first F2 release will be reaching for. TC’s mystical approach to nailing the finest bass melodies going then come into play here, with a multitude of pads making for a startlingly playful way to keep the ravers guessing. 

‘Solar / Desire’ will be available via F2 on MP3 and WAV download from 1stJuly 2016.
