Hello, hello,

Rock Rede is a [mag]azine devoted to rocks, art, and music, curated by Maija Jussila. An Amsterdam scene veteran, now based in Helsinki, Maija is likely a name you recognise or whose work you’ve encountered around the Netherlands—whether at an event she produced, or through an article, interview, or liner notes about your favourite artist, musician, or record. Connecting over rocks, art and music with inspiring & talented people around her, she's put those thoughts into action, resulting in the zine before you. As an admirer of her work, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve contributed to Rock Rede with a four-part soundtrack composition to accompany the zine.

The first edition of Rock Rede, subtitled Now I Am Calm, will debut at Murmur (Amsterdam, NL) on the 27th of October. You’ll be able to pick up the zine and have access to the music via my Bandcamp page.

There will be music, drinks at the bar, and of course, the freshly printed pages of Rock Rede, featuring artists Luigi Lineri and Bart Eysink Smeets, alongside contributions from:

To enhance this atmospheric exchange, Clara Croft will be on the decks, setting the mood to dark and danceable, with a special one-time performance by yours truly—a live rendition of the soundtrack, performed just this once in support of Rock Rede's launch.
