Mixing traditional Irish songs with the power and delicacy of dueling pipes, fiddle, whistles, guitar, bouzouki and bodhrán, At First Light create a sonic landscape that takes the audience on a journey of discovery from the roots to the future of the Irish tradition. The pedigree of each individual musician is outstanding, their experience and sheer mastery of the music evident for all to see, but it is when their considerable talents are combined that you can expect the unexpected. At First Light are set to literally light the way for authentic Irish Traditional music this decade with their debut album, 'Idir'. Masterful musicianship from John McSherry, Dónal O'Connor, Francis McIlduff, Ciara McCrickard and their guests, the finest in the Celtic world, exploring fresh perspectives on the living tradition. Each member of the group has influenced Celtic folk music, from featuring on Grammy-award winning recordings to collaborating live with the world's greatest folk and contemporary artists. Newest band member, Ciara McCrickard, carries the pedigree of the great Ulster song tradition into the new millennium, having learned at the feet of many of the masters. Her crystalline tone and intricate turns, combined with her vocal honesty, bring to audiences, a voice that only comes along once in a generation.

Deane James Bio
Deane James is a soul singer-songwriter currently living and performing in London. Deane has won national singer songwriter competitions in his native Ireland with his songs 'Goodbye Miss Jane' and 'Bright Lights'. In 2011 Deane was noticed in the US by music manager Johnny Wright ( Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ciara) and reached the Top 20 artists worldwide in his search for talent. Deane James showcased his music on April 21st in The Hippodrome Casino and was accompanied by Amy Winehouse guitarist Robin Banerjee. Deane is currently recording his new EP and performing at open mic venues around London. Deane James music has been described by critics as 'Elton John meets Dr John' and his voice described as being 'simply stunning'.
