primitive Schmierer

Nearly 8 years ago, David Daniels, Steo Doran and I came together to form the electronic hip-hop band @thevillamusic.

We were so dedicated to the project that we all quit our jobs to move to Ibiza to take over the world 🌍

Unfortunately, it didn’t work out and I left. We only released 3 songs after years together. We had very early success but just couldn’t really pull the trigger on a concept we all agreed on.

We fell out, we made up.

All these years later, I found countless half finished songs on Dropbox. Some were half baked for sure, but others were gems that we were just too shy to release with our names attached.

But when I listen back to all the tunes, I am still overwhelmed with nostalgia, excitement, happiness and sadness about what could have been.

Most importantly, it was just great craic with my best mates.
