Just found an old mix I made back at the start of 2009, possibly with those now extinct things called CD's. This is what I call Deephouse, not the stuff being played now. ;-) Hope you enjoy.

I’ve always been into electronic music. From young it was all about Gary Numan; it all started in 1997 when he re-released ‘Cars’ after the Carling adverts.

 

At 18 I went to college in Newcastle and started going to Shindig, the first proper DJ I saw was some bloke called Carl Cox!

The next time I went it was to see Sasha for the ‘Involver’ album launch for Global Underground. I went and bought the CD and was hooked on the progressive stuff.

 

I started buying more and more dance CD's in a boutique music outlet in Deal (Soundhouse) and got friendly with the guys that ran the place. One of their team took me to see Layo & Bushwacka and that was it....

From then on I was hooked on the Tech house and the Techno side of things. 

 

I decided to have ago DJ'ing, so bought a Xone 92 (mixer), some cdj 1000 (CD decks)..... oh and 1210's (turntables).

 

Dislike = Bad Attitude. Simple, I like music; that’s all you need for a good party.

 

Currently I’m into playing quality, soulful deep house sets at YourHouseOrMine, Rokka Club, and now starting a new experience called #UPfront @qubedover.
