The on-form Dear Deer label looks to Rafael Cerato for a brand new single that features Aves Volare and comes with a Sasha Carassi Remix.

Cerato is an artist with a deserving reputation as one of the underground's finest. He shows that again here with Perpetual, a hugely detailed techno tune with scintillating synth work and raw percussion. It's a sizzling peak time track with the sort of energy that locks in the floor and plenty of twists and turns. The Sasha Carassi Remix then strips things back to a more muscular groove with tense synth layers piled up over the top and is sure to make its mark in the club.

This is a superb two-track package on Dear Deer once again.

Rafael Cerato - Perpetual Ft. Aves Volare (Original Mix)

Lithuanian artist Ten Walls brings his melodic house sounds to a new package on Dear Deer that comes with remixes from Cholewski, DJ Kent and Anis Hachemi & label head Alex Kaspersky.

Ten Walls has been at the forefront for many years with an emotive sound that is always evolving but is rooted in progressive melody and captivating grooves. For this one he linked up with Jonatan Backelie for 'Anything But This' which is a sublime seven minute cut with spine tingling chords. Gentle drums unfold with broad synth sounds and then hypnotic leads arrive and ride gently up and down the scale to mesmeric effect. It's a captivating tune that will stand out in any set.

Then comes Anything But This (Justin Cholewski Remix) with its chunkier drums and more pronounced percussion. Well swung claps hook you in as celestial vocals add another layer of richness. The DJ Kent remix is all about making those epic moments on the dance floor when a vocal unites the crowd in spirituality. The drums are warm and the synths deft as the tune washes over you. Lastly the Anis Hachemi & Alex Kaspersky remix is deep and rolling with atmospheric late night sounds and spine tingling vocals that light up the groove.

These are well designed sounds that make for a fantastic package.

Mucagiami is first up and is a steamy techno roller with bubbly bass and dark keys. Chanting vocals add a truly voodooistic element. Zuassi is a more heads-down tune with metallic percussion and laser-like synths that work you into a lather. It's deep and involving techno with a real afro tinge to the grooves. Innocence then gets more dreamy and serene with its long-tailed pads and ever-evolving drums.

This is a fantastically fresh EP from this crew once more.

The original version is a far-sighted techno track with astral synths. It gets you in a daze and has you lost in a reverie of pads and rolling kicks, while the angelic vocal floats up top and adds layers of human emotion. The remix is more tense, with edgy synths looping beneath crashing hits. Progressive, cinematic, and well designed!
