Tokyo’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘So Loud’ EP. The two-track EP follows up a collaborative EP with Black Asteroid on the label in 2022.

Risa Taniguchi’s title track to her ‘So Loud’ EP on CLR is a brilliantly alluring, stripped-back workout built on thudding kicks. The twitchy synth motifs bring a foreboding atmosphere next to raw percussion, all elements creeping in intensity. The electrifying 'Emission' brings more nervous energy with fizzing synths layering in rich texture over clacking hits and rolling bass. There's an unsettling sense of cosmic turbulence throughout this most stylish of tracks, making for a powerful and essential pair of cuts to lock the crowds in for a late-night trip.

At the forefront of the Japanese techno scene, Risa Taniguchi’s music on labels like Second State and Kneaded Pains mixes dark, lo-fi sound, distorted textures, and slow-burning energy that always hits its mark. She first arrived on Chris Liebing’s CLR in 2022 alongside Black Asteroid with the ‘Acid Flesh’ EP, which won the support of artists like Luke Slater, Blawan, Amelie Lens, and many more - once again excelling with her solo ‘So Loud’ EP this May.

Say What? is back with release number 208 - a stunning 5-track EP from Colombian newcomer Yuuta.

The first track of the release 'El Bandido' makes us dive straight into a world of pulsating rhythms and hypnotic grooves and shows that Yuuta knows how to blend punchy basslines with tantalizing synths to make dancefloors move.

Second up is 'Domado' offering a smoother yet equally compelling ride, where rolling vibes and melodic accents intertwine into a perfect dancefloor tool that balances groove, emotion and energy, making it a must-have.

Third on the release - 'Karioca' brings a playful edge to the EP with vibrant rhythms and infectious hooks that pulse with life and movement. The use of a simple piano stab elevates the track totally to another level and sets a perfect minimalistic vibe.

The fourth - 'Kurama' ventures a bit more into darker territory, its enigmatic textures and hypnotic drive create the perfect atmosphere for those early morning sessions.

Last but not least we have 'Sacrilegio' - a track that dares to challenge convention. With its edgy, raw elements and relentless drive, it leaves a lasting impression, ensuring the listener is left both exhilarated and craving more.

Out of Place Records continues their series of high-delivery releases, this time on digital with the label's 8th release. It is an all-around banger with five tracks signed by young talent from Poland - Szmer. The tracks are ranging from underwater blasts and Detroit machinery to fast attack bouncers and grinders. Szmer cleverly combines raw techno elements with industrial noise and expanding chords capturing the essence of any club-oriented floor kickers. Dancers are going to dig this one!

Young Michał Aleksiewicz is a promising Poland producer and a DJ better known these days as Szmer. Walking the Techno path since 2011, he's been playing all around Poland and also well-known European temples like Tresor and Suicide Circus, although under The Effaith moniker. In almost ten years he managed to release numerous tracks under three different aliases which are mostly influenced by Planetary Assault Systems, Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zadig or Sterac aka Steve Rachmad.

"Geist" adorably resembles some of the older tracks by Robert Hood or Steve Rachmad. Detroit infused sequence is squeezing and expanding through a rolling beats and 909 percussions. Heavy cymbals and short breaks are tight and leave little room for pit stops in this relentless pounder.

At the border between tradition and pulsating desire for change, it was impossible to describe the Georgian Sonic soundscapes without finding its roots in the old winemaking tradition. There is no meal or reference without wine, just like there would not be this rising culture of artists without their thoughts for change, filled with the desire to bring a game-changing wind of change to the front of the scene, being musical or political.

devi finally reveals himself completely, the face of the wind of change which continues to blow over the red vines of Georgia.

Established in Rennes (France), RED REC has pushed forward a wide range of ambient, eclectic and proteiform compositions. In only over three years of existence, the French label has offered a vigorous artistic and technophile approach, with 9 digital releases. Antidote returns to Northern Parallels with a follow up to his Theorem EP release. 'Endless Nights' provides three dance floor ready tracks demonstrating groovy, hypnotic, stripped-down beats.

The EP starts with 'Anxious', low-end heavy, broken beat backed with hypnotic vocals and a subtle synth line.

'Insomnia' is a great example why sometimes "less is more". Along with the last track 'Paralysis'. Both tracks are stripped down, yet groovy, mind-numbing and ideal for warming up or late night dance floor.
