Tensal start his techno project in 2014, from that day without hesitation he become a solid name that represent Spanish techno so well and took the world by a storm with his very precise productions and a consistent elegant discography. ANAØH is a label based in México, worked by Fixon and Dig-it, both of who have a long history in the techno scene. The project was born in 2016 in order to expose the music of the highest quality, with conceptual releases and delicate sound designs that showcase the sound of natural landscapes. 

‘ANAØH INVITES’ is the new annual series, in which both Dig-It and Fixon as hosts of the label invite two artists to join them to release four original tracks on a special edition translucent 12' vinyl.

The two joining artists are James Ruskin and Ben Sims, both of who are the fundamental base of the evolution of British Techno sound. For the vinyl, these two have delivered two magnificent tracks “Nurk” and “Punching Up”, which each represent the experienced path that they have carved for more than two decades. 

As James and Ben join alsongside Dig-It and Fixon, the vinyl will no doubt result in powerful sounds - pure TNT techno.

Rising Greek techno star ANNĒ makes her full debut on Soma with her brand new EP, 1990. After appearing on a previous instalment of the Collection Process VA’s, ANNĒ drops a proper deep and driving 4 track release to cement her place within Soma Records.

Title track 1990 opens with tough, rolling beats and continues to gallop with an infectious groove and thrashing percussion. Wake Up And Dance is a carefully processed track where each element compliments the other, consolidating in yet another driving and perfectly layered track. On a more hypnotic tip, Keep An Eye On Me uses looped out synths that ebb and flow throughout backed by ANNĒ’s hi intensity drum workouts. Sirens closes out the EP on spectacular form and once again, mesmerising synth hooks drive from the start, layering up perfectly as the track progresses to create a proper dance floor burner.

Mind Games is an underground techno label from Italy ran by Luca Maniaci.

Alessandro Cocco was born in Rome and studied sound design in London, making his debut on Mind Games he also has appearances on imprints such as Coded Platform, Black Line and Eclipse.

Label boss Luca Maniaci is an established artist who lists labels such as Josh Wink's Ovum and Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings in his back catalogue.

"Unsolved Case" is a raw jam with thundering toms and haunting atmospherics ready to take on the dance floor.

Luca Maniaci switches up the opener with a more driving take and expands the mood with added bleeping tones.

"Unchanged Behavior" uses modular notes to form the hook over some jackin' percussion bursting with energy.

Fourth on offer is "Unrevealed Secret" with a bouncing beat and rattling drums working with some tasteful sci-fi twinkles.

Closing with "Until Tomorrow" and its brooding aesthetic, the clean, hypnotic feel and mind-bending hook are outstanding.

Premiere: Long time Soma affiliate Arnaud Le Texier returns to Soma with his latest bold and electrifying release, the Elements EP. The London based DJ/producer and Children OF Tomorrow label owner has spent years cultivating his unique, trippy and hypnotic sound and this release has him once again displaying his exceptional production skills. 

Title track Elements opens with a deep and hypnotic sensibility. Spacious pads glides across a driving beat as more emotive elects drive in gently making this a perfect track to build up the tension with.

Oxygeno returns to Soma marking his first solo release on the label with Shocked By Reality. After impressing with his contribution to the Collective Process VA series, the young Spanish producer drops 3 expertly crafted sliced and raw, deep yet energetic techno. Rush Hour opens with driving, siren like synths that pulsate throughout the track creating a dark and sinister tone. Title track Shocked By Reality delves deeper as Oxygeno develops a more tunnelling sound with uniques synths works and deep acid bass. Wrong Way completes the EP with a journey through space as twisted, looped out synths warp reality while more jacked up drums set the pace perfectly.
