The first mixtape from Highlife, recorded ahead of the Nicolas Jaar gig at the Arches, Glasgow, at which they will support the man himself, as well as providing production from set designer Aoife McKim and visuals by Florence To.This first mix, from Highlife promoter Brian d’Souza, features artists who have played at Highlife since it launched in May 2010, including Shackleton, Mim Suleiman, T Williams, Rebolledo and Capracara, as well as some from artists who'll be playing in the future: Nicolas Jaar, Raoul K and DJs Pareja. It also features exclusive and unreleased tracks by Auntie Flo, Esa Williams aka Mervin Granger, Alejandro Paz and Bamboo Palace. The next Highlife will be at the Arches this Friday 29th July featuring Nicolas Jaar LIVE, Auntie Flo and Esa Williams.
