Ofelia Ortodoxa, under Dystatik, unveils the latest release titled "Basics For Sadness," a six-track album available on tape. The digital release is scheduled for January 29th, and we're treating ourselves to a sneak peek with the track "I Can Tell You Anymore."

About the release:
Columbian DJ and producer Ofelia Ortodoxa makes a triumphant return to Dystatik, marking his debut album on the label. Hailing as one of Colombia's most expressive and interesting electronic music creators, Ofelia delves into various genres, from electro to ambient. "Basics For Sadness" is a collection of six tracks, drawing inspiration from old cassette recordings and featuring new collaborations with fellow artists. The result is a potent EP characterized by minimal synth and dark wave aesthetics, all enveloped in a nostalgic ambiance.

Rising from the Dead is a Halloween tale - not to be taken too seriously - about a 19th century woman who died, poisoned by her husband, and who seeks revenge in one last dance with her killer.
