Deathhouse Blues is a 6 piece blues-rock band based in Norfolk, VA; they have been part of the Norfolk music scene for 7 years now. They have performed at numerous local venues including The Norfolk Taphouse, Charlies American Café, 37th and Zen, Shakas, Toast, Granby Theatre, and many more. 

The Beer Battered Boogies is the 2nd Deathhouse Blues LP, released April 1st, 2018 on the bandcamp. The Beer Battered Boogies will be available for streaming via all major digital vendors on April 17th, 2018. There will be a vinyl for purchase soon.

Band performers include Ryan Nixon (drummer, co-founder also known for Angel 99) Gabriel Perry (lead guitarist, co-founder also of Hindu Pez, [0PT-0UT], The Wrist Cutter, Red This Ever, etc) Josh Mistler (bassist) Benny Le Bonn (rhythm guitarist) along with its newest performers Emma Jane Tracy (lead singer) and Chris Felan (harmonica).

The band has been nominated for two Veer Music awards in the Blues category. The music is a combination of originals and covers that include Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones and Jimmy Reed.
