Smiling alone.
No longer chasing highs by
Calling your phone.
My heart is warm and light.
I'm in my zone
As I sit on my throne since 
I replaced my stitches with cufflinks.

My shirt is tucked. 
My tie's done up.
I'm dressed for a funeral.
My rings, they gleam.
My face is clean.
I look so unusual.

She's getting old.
And she's having dreams about how
She'd let me hold
Her head to my heartbeat but 
She's on her own
And she fell off her throne since
I replaced my stitches with cufflinks.
