Another superb addition to our DT:Download section we have Portuguese talent Fresko who is fresh from dropping his debut album Is It on the superb HAYES Collective as well as releasing music on on ELBEREC and Obscuur.

Ahead of a forthcoming four track EP for our very own DEAD CERT. Records we wanted to introduce Fresko with a taste of his freaky sound in the form of this free download titled “The Deceiver” that delivers a raw, moody funk wrapped up in gritty atmosphere and an experimental touch.

Felipe Párraga aka Saurio is an emerging artist from Bogotá, Colombia and who has featured music on labels like Bruno Ledesma's Concepto Hipnotico, Parabola and Hxagram. "Algerian" is a moody and spaced-out track with a haunting depth and hypnotic funk.

02. Pyramidal Decode - Axes

Italian Francesco De Marzo aka Pyramidal Decode returns following a couple of appearances on DEAD CERT. and his last EP that came with a Kirk Degiorgio remix. He has also released on Fernanda Martins' Devotion, Vegim's TMMR, Subsist, and Alleanza. "Axes" is a perfect blend of a strong, yet floaty, modular trip that transports you into the cosmos while remaining firmly grounded on the dance floor.

03. Sejon - Gear

Chris Jones aka Sejon is from Portsmouth, UK and brother to the well-known Operator. His music has also landed on Lewis Fautzi's Faut Section, Etichetta Nera as well as his own newly launched label V1 Records. "Gear" is a stunning, uptempo techno ride with a deep, rolling soul and subtle tribal influence.

04. Fresko - Hypochondria

Francisco Barahona aka Fresko is a fresh artist talent from Portugal, who returns after his recent DEAD CERT. EP and releasing his debut album on HAYES, ran by a collective including Temudo, Nørbak and VIL amongst others. "Hypochondria" is a wild and abstract take on techno that's full of creativity and character using its obscure elements to deliver a unique piece of sound design.

Italian Francesco De Marzo aka Pyramidal Decode delivers his second DEAD CERT. EP with absolute authority. A highly rated producer, he has also released on labels like Edit Select Records, Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, Fernanda Martins' Devotion, Vegim's TMMR and Subsist.

"MF1" opens the EP with a gritty, subterranean techno funk drawing on dub influences and conveying visions of an entrancing, deep sea voyage.

London-based Arnaud Le Texier is a veteran artist with a strong production pedigree, known for heading up the highly respected Children of Tomorrow label, as well as releasing on Ben Sims' Symbolism, Sven Väth's Cocoon, Slam's Soma, and Christian Wünsch's Tsunami Records.

EvilGroove, a techno label rooted in the United States, was co-founded by Lindsey Herbert and Jason Doll. Known for its support of both established names like Truncate and Dustin Zahn, as well as emerging underground talent, EvilGroove serves as a platform for diverse sonic expressions.

Germany’s Snork Enterprises has 18 years of music releases under its belt by artists like DJ Shufflemaster, Headless Horseman, Alexander Kowalski and Stanny Franssen in its back catalogue of raw techno gems.

Cogo is a Slovenian label who have a quality over quantity mantra having already featured music by Stanislav Tolkachev, Inigo Kennedy, Samuli Kemppi as well as remixes from Volster and Magna Pia.

The newest release VA.02 follows a 3 year hiatus, but they come in style by gathering a strong collective consisting of Dutch artist Jeroen Search, Belgium’s Border One, Spain’s ORBE, and label co-owner Tonske.

Netherlands star man, Jeroen Search, is up there with the best in my book. Releases on Kr!z’s Token, Ben Sims’ Symbolism and Len Faki’s Figure show his pedigree and he supplies another functional and dreamy, spaced-out jam.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Observer” that is a trippy and wonderful jam. Showing his hand with a sci-fi shakedown of modular bleeps and subtle tension locked into its sharp yet wonky groove.

Opening with "The Nocturn," the abstract sound design is as bizarre as it is catchy and tense all at once. Setting an unmistakable mood of creativity and function, this crazy weapon is ready to melt all corners of the dance floor.

With the comeback of his moniker, Polyvinyl, UMEK goes back to his hardgroove origins. In addition, he is starting a new record label called 1605 GrooveSector, which will specialise in raw techno and hardgroove.

Slovenian-born UMEK has a career that dates back to the 1990s, when he was among the musicians that helped create and pioneer the first hardgroove movement. His iconic Recycled Loops project produced a number of groundbreaking songs that shaped the modern genre.

UMEK’s music has changed throughout the course of his three-decade career to reflect contemporary styles, and he has continued to be one of the most significant techno artists. His career is coming full circle with the return of the Polyvinyl pseudonym, and he is once again embracing the improvisational production style that once brought him international recognition.

Linear System is an artist based in Costa Rica who has close ties to the highly regarded Scottish imprint, Edit Select Records. A label that has released four out of five of his studio albums, as well as several EPs in just a few years. Spencer Hardwick, a Portland-based musician, has launched a new underground techno label called VAST. It will feature a variety of up-and-coming American artists as well as others, emphasising raw, hypnotic sounds with analogue characteristics, modular sounds, and imaginative ideas.

Sleepy Cat is a well-known DJ and producer in the underground club scene in Los Angeles. He has a varied approach and has made an impact with his visceral live recordings and dramatic, immersive hardware performances. After appearing on Secus’ Rituals and Orly Gal’s Hidden Symbols, this release titled Modality highlights a cerebral and mesmerising aspect of his sound.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Isolate” with a broken beat and intoxicating atmosphere. Swirling, analogue textures combine with a bold kick drum that increases the pressure to a euphoric breakdown of space and respite before launching into another wave of dystopian cinematics.

Gravitational Forces is an emerging underground techno label from Belgium's CMPND (BE), which has previously supported artists including Joton, Amine Kohb, PS11, and Dorbachov.

Belgian-based K-Deey is an experienced veteran with a long production history, and his latest EP 'Awake' follows contributions to labels such as Marco Bailey's MATERIA, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, A.Paul's Naked Lunch, and Paula Cazenave's Combine Audio.

CMPND (BE), the Gravitational Forces head, also supplies a remix. He is a rising Belgian artist with music on the ORKS imprint and Void Rhythm, and he has been absorbing the prestigious nightlife environment for over 20 years to become a revered DJ, drawing influences from many local pioneers.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of "Ring Twice" with an eerie and energetic vibe. Thundering percussion meets swirling textures and tootling tones shrowded in atmosphere and tension in this raw, floor working cut.

Sweden-based Bond has primarily been an outlet for its bossman’s new material, but also lists a release by Manic Brothers. Delivering the newest EP titled Before the After, Petter B returns with more top tracks.

Featuring on remix duty, Arjun Vagale is one of India’s biggest techno stars and an advocate for the emerging techno scene and frequently performs internationally. He runs the AsymetriK label and Odd Recordings, with a lengthy history of releasing a wide range of music that includes London’s fabric, Pfirter’s MindTrip, Svreca’s Semantica, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, and Stephan Bodzin’s Herzblut.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of the title track “Before the After” with a crunchy and driving sound. Analogue textures bend and bounce over the pumping low-end culminating in the breakdown’s tremendous tension, before the relaunch of high-octane energy and dynamic power.

Launched by the label boss himself, Rituals is an underground techno label from Secus, situated in Los Angeles, USA, which has released EPs from Sleepy Cat and SOLëM.

'Shadows in Silence' is Secus' debut album, which features a carefully chosen selection of eight original tracks that were created last year, and together with two remixes, he reveals a deep dive into his sonic progression. The mesmerising intensity and fluctuating textures that characterise his distinctive sound are reflected in the release, and his previous productions are Steve Parker's MUTED rec, Detroit's Blank Code, Lindsey Herbert's EvilGroove, Vegim's TMMR, and 6AM Group's Synthetik Sounds, to mention a few.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the opening track "Fate," with a twisted and unsettling sound. Dark vibrations and tides of electronic pulses pull and push in this abstract and fulfilling slice of hypnotic expressionism.

Piotr Figiel founded the techno imprint RWETES, which focusses on his own underground productions. Having performed with musicians like Surgeon, Tom Hades, Paul Birken, Deas, and Esther Duijn, Piotr Figiel has made a name for himself in the Polish scene and beyond. In addition to being the owner of RWETES, he counts releases on Developer's Modularz, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Lex Gorrie's Unknown Territory, H.Paul's Induxtriall, and collaborations with Rraph and Marboc.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Incident" with its gritty, mechanical groove. Tension builds as the eerie atmosphere is met with robotic growls and groans that creates an ethereal sound of dystopian, sci-fi like effects, all of which geared to rocking the dance floor.

Spain's Roi, is an experienced DJ and producer who Co-Founded the Fanzine Project specialising in its label and events, as well as his IOR imprint. He also lists releases on Joton's Newrhythmic, Oliver Rosemann's Recorded Things, Vegim's TMMR, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track "Tirio" that is a suspenseful masterclass. A throbbing bassline underpins skittering and rolling percussion amidst powerful waves pulsing frequencies sounding like futuristic, dystopian warfare that will melt your mind and body.

Amphibian is putting Czech Republic on the map, where in just a couple years, they have included tracks by notable artists such as CRAVO, A.Morgan, and Pink Concrete.

Berlin-based Gannein and BFVR combine for a track on the 'Swamp Motions II' VA for Amphibian. With a shared back catalogue that has seen them release on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Electric Rescue's Skryptöm, Pushmann's N&N Records, Grab the Groove, and Synergie, the pair certainly know how to create quality music.

The new seven-track collection 'Omnidirectional II' has a wide range of talented musicians from Germany, Australia, Georgia, Austria, and Portugal.

Telicho is a young Vienna-based producer and DJ who showcases her first original track that follows a killer remix of Albin Brezlan on Nine O Nine, proving there will be more great music coming soon.

With some devastating news last weekend, we learned of the tragic passing of a Berlin legend Maik Marold aka Mike Wall as he is known to many. The Wall Music label head and regular party promoter at the Suicide Circus club has left a huge hole in many hearts as he was one of the most forward thinking musicians and loved figures of the scene.

One of his close friends made this track dedicated to him, using their production moniker as a way to remember this time through the music he gave so generously too, raise awareness, and spread the word of love and support.

We would also like to kindly mention that you may make donations to support his family of wife and children via the YouCaring link (campaign finished) Mike Wall’s Family Members link, as many of the community have done so already upon hearing the terrible news of Maik’s death.
