Premiere: Kashpitzky - Defensive Approach [BAOX15]

Following a 15-year hiatus from publishing, Neapolitan techno’s founding imprint – Conform Records – made an emphatic resurgence in 2020 to resume its intrinsic role in the progression of electronic music, ensuring that the genres’ virtuous roots and formative values remained instilled within its future. Having re-released its entire back-catalogue in digital format from its original DAT distribution in the 90s, label head Gaetano Parisio now shifts his focus to the modern audience, with contemporary records that serve to marry these two golden eras of dance music. 

Showcasing his immense theoretical knowledge and authenticity, earned through decades of experience in the industry, Parisio’s latest project – his 6 part ‘Fragments 2930’ EP – honours the meditative euphoria of Conform’s early releases. Militant and driving in their effect, each cut presents its own melodious theme; running parallel to the strong percussive undercurrent of high impact techno that can be heard across the extended player. ‘Fragments 2930’ was initially conceived as a single sound block and later fragmented into these 6 single units. As represented in its title, ‘Fragments 2930’ also includes the catalogue numbers 29 and 30, with the double vinyl characteristic of a 2-release miniseries. 

Gaetano’s latest release is further proof that the label’s discography now only grows to hold more future classics.

Rene returns to the SK11X series after his stellar debut on the label. This time with 4 cuts of finely crafted techno as only Rene knows how to do.
Unrelenting grooves and a deeper look into his unique sound design flair, these tracks are timeless in sound and production quality.
“Fuego” kicks it off as the A1 with its up tempo base and FM sounds . “Tell Me” as the A2 strips it back into a rolling drum track. “Tizer” settles it back into a percussive, syncopated clappy groove with a prominent vocal stab. The arpeggiated warm back drop of “Speeding” closes out the EP in style.

At the beginning of the 2000s there was a time when Boriqua Tribez was one of the fundamental characters in techno in his hardgroove facet. Protagonist, with a sound based on tribal and Latin sequences... 20 years later the Originally from Austria, presented his new project a different alias but just as powerful and that in the last year has not stopped working magnificently, for that reason , we are happy to have Uncertain debut in ANAØH.

3 original, powerful, fast tracks, with a lot of groove, class, dance music, without different pretensions, highlight the experience of this veteran producer.

We already had a powerful and special release, but almost on a whim we wanted to do an experiment, as always, being faithful to our philosophy, contrasts always leave good results, so we invited a young producer, a very dear friend of ANAØH and The entire team, Alarico, whom we invited to participate as a remixer, the result is majestic, a reinterpretation of the track 'Terminate' in its most minimal, clubber and deep state, as always, without neglecting the groove. The complete release is a diamond that we hope, enjoy as much as we do!

This is 'End All' on MXMN002, a track consisting of eerie, urgent sounds, conveying feelings of being chased. Gritty shakers and a hard kick drive the track forward, while psychotic synth-stabs and bell-like sounds keep you on your toes.

Radio Slave announces Rekids Special Projects ‘Actualize’ compilation and DJ mix - Part 1 will be released in January, with Part 2 to follow in February 2023.

Rekids Special Projects, the no-nonsense techno-focused sub-label of Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards’ Rekids, launched in 2017 and has since released music from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Jon Hester, and more. For the 50th release, Edwards readies ‘Actualize’, bringing acts from the wider Rekids universe into one slick collection, with the first part arriving this January alongside a DJ mix of the tracks.

“The original concept was a vinyl-only offshoot of Rekids, focusing on techno and a home for our extended family of artists. We’re now working with so many new and exciting young artists, such as Confidential Recipe and the incredible Theo Nasa, and Rekids Special Projects is a rock-solid platform to shout about good quality club-focused techno music. On Edge Society is a Brooklyn-based label that has a long line of quality having previously featured artists like Zadig, Dustin Zahn, ROD, TWR72, Marco Faraone and DJ Rush amongst many others.

William Arist is a prime example of a talent breaking through, but far from an over night success, he is a seasoned DJ and producer with releases on labels like Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE, Animal Farm, Vinicius Honorio’s Liberta, Deano (ZA)’s Knowledge Imprint and his very own Perseverancia. Listing supporters like Ben Sims, Charlotte de Witte and Tensal, he also had a huge track called “Cyanophyta” on our limited edition DEAD CERT. vinyl only release alongside his new EP with a rampant Roberto aka Fossil Archive remix.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “R.U.M” that’s a deep, flowing groover down to its core. Stripped back, raw and funky stabbing tones are amidst delayed sweeps that add thrilling sections to this dubby delight definitely made with the club floor in mind.
