Japanese DJ & producer Mountain is an exciting prospect in the world of dance music. Residing in the port city of Osaka, Mountain has been busy creating his debut 14 track LP out on Soulvent Records in March!

‘Sahara’ is a bit of an oxymoron, as the rich array of sonic elements on display couldn’t be further from the barren nature of the desert. With a chance to hear something new every time you listen, the intricate percussion leaves room for the lush synth and string play to please the ear.

Mountain’s self-titled album offers a brief glimpse into the young producer’s varied and unique sound and the start of a fruitful career as he blends a mix of varied influences with a unique, scrupulous approach and a deep respect for the culture.

When Nasz and DJSS come together, you know it’s going to be a good one! ‘Hola’ is a summertime sing-along banger bursting with feel-good energy and skanky resonated basses that get you hooked in the groove.

‘In the Rain’ is on a mission to deliver nothing less than the kind of impact that leaves a permanent mark.  The track’s forward chugging back-bone is delicately layered with a modulating bass that is the focal point of this dancefloor rumbler.

The titled track ‘Long Division’ is a devious one! The intro is filled with mysterious atmosphere and brisk hats leading us to dirty drop with a warping well produced bass. There is serious presence within this vibrating stomper.

‘Rasta’ brings the jungle flavours and spicy basslines. The drop on this track comprised of drums brimming with groove and notes that will be ringing in listeners ears. When the bass hits, it’s pure party vibes.

It's been a decade since I've put out a Deep, Dark & Heavy Mix so this Pt. 2 was long overdue. Went in on this one showcasing all the newer heavier sounds that D&B has to offer. As usual everything is mixed in key, taking you on harmonic seamless blends. Mix was made on May 18th 2022 using 4 CDJ 3000’s, a Pioneer V10 mixer, which was plugged into a Tascam to record. The mix has a total running time of 55 minutes & 9 seconds. Shout outs to Memo (2Fkukdup) for the artwork and FuntCase on the mastering. Kaf is a Drum and Bass DJ in Atlanta, GA who has played up and down the east coast for the past 7 years. With a dedication and interest primarily in Dancefloor and Neuro DNB, Kaf approaches every set differently to create his own brew of upbeat and dance heavy mixes. 

This year has been a busy one for him, as he has released 4 songs on his own newly coined "Just Peachy! Records", performed numerous local shows including a headline show of his own, played direct support for national touring artists such as Dieselboy, Downlink, Rusko, 12th Planet, and Culture Shock; and started curating events under the promo company "Atlanta Drum and Bass". 

When you watch and hear Kaf, you are guaranteed to feel the energy he brings to the booth. Mixing across 3 decks, Kaf plays the freshest and deepest cuts, along with his choice remixes, and own original music.
