After 20 years of a restful sleep, the legendary Icelandic house label has been resurrected. Three deep cuts exhibiting what is in store for the year 2022.

It begins with "Can Ride", a neo-disco anthem from former resident Justin Simmons. Nifty groove with an acid-bassline - topped with all the razzle and dazzle that is needed to get the dancefloor moving.

The flipside starts with a proper minimal percussion-driven groove from Kate & Joan, a side-project of Dole & Kom from the renowned label BCC music. The Detroit-influenced dub house anthem will, without a doubt, be a useful tool for any DJs to get the crowd going.

The second cut on the B-side is from a Reykjavik-based beatmakers Oh Mama. Its wild style sample-based approach caught the label's attention and the result is a worthy debut vinyl release. Hypnotic, sexy and groovy - with a big and dirty bassline.

At Death Waltz Recording Company we’re proud to feature the music of some of the weirdest and most insane movies around, and few come crazier than Marino Girolami’s ZOMBI HOLOCAUST. Melding both Lucio Fulci’s ZOMBI 2 and Ruggero Deodato’s CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST (hence the title), Girolami’s film pits an army of flesh-eating cannibals against members of the undead, with a group of nosey Americans caught in-between, to be feasted and experimented upon. Scoring this truly depraved opus is famed Italian composer Nico Fidenco, who finds the perfect balance between jazz-funk, oppressive electronics and soft-core vocals to give HOLOCAUST the soundtrack it needs.

Fidenco goes everywhere and anywhere for this score, with thumping bass that wouldn’t sound out of place at a rave and the best jazz-flute this side of Jethro Tull. Synthesiser lines drift through the score like a fog, ranging from melodic new wave to dissonant and foreboding, while haunting female vocals inject the music with a pseudo-porno feel. And of course, there’s the traditional tribal percussion, as well as a healthy dose of church organ - Fidenco isn’t afraid of going anywhere and as a result you have a truly unique and absolutely mental example of zombie/cannibal film 

Kamasutra In Love

ALVA is a french electronic music duet formed by Raphaël and Alexandre, two architecture students. Soon after uploading their first tracks online, they join Pont Neuf Records and have their first vinyl release with Disco Inferno in 2015. Before long, their first maxi Mental Scapes follows, supported by Laurent Garnier and Brawther just to name a few. They begin to play more often in clubs like the Concrete or Rex Club. Their latest release is "Brizmax Dance" on the second volume of Pont Neuf Record's Habemus Paname compilation, for which they also did the artworks. A lot is yet to happen in 2017 as they have planned various tracks, a second EP and the first release of the label they aim to launch this fall.
