Nonsensical is a side project from Backbone which is based on uniqueness differentiated sound paradigma. Looking for wider visions of ambience aesthetics, the artist presents himself for the first time with an EP of 6 tracks that links the listener to a day dreaming narrative. Highly connected to a deeper consciousness healing novel we can witness an inspiring environment with precise musical touches combining wood elements among fresh synths. This signature presents the beginning of 2023 from the label that returns with a second EP fulfilling an experience without stigmas.

This vision represents how endless cycles collide in order to create other forms of life. Joining this EP with a remix from the track “Solina”, Efdemin signs an outstanding uplifting track bringing a sublime sound to this release presenting a perfect sound journey to close this EP with some classy functional techno with a modern atmospheric subtle concept.

Celebrating its ten year anniversary, Dekmantel is pleased to announce record number eight in a ten-EP trophy series released throughout 2017. This time Dekmantel focusses on some of the most highly regarded craftsmen within techno, including, Donato Dozzy and Peter Van Hoesen along, Matrixxmann, and Dutch DJs Deniro and Talismann. Like stepping out of the UFO tent at Dekmantel Festival, ears ringing from an entire day of pulsating music, this record epitomizes the fiery warm, organic. Featuring a selection of underground, and international talents, the eighth EP will resonate with all who like their techno full of character, living in the space where Detroit and the Netherlands co-exist.

With a common language of abstract, modular techno Donato Dozzy and Peter van Hoesen are no strangers to each other's music – or studios. 'Storta' has that psychedelic tribal aesthetic that has come to define their most recent live-hybrid performances. Dutch producer Deniro has garnered a more cult-like reputation for his spacey, progressive jams – one that has earned him the admiration of Nina Kraviz who recently released his new EP Mendoza on her Trip label. Returning to Dekmantel, Deniro drives a soulful, journey to an intergalactic world that was shaped by the Gods of Detroit – smooth sauce, that Derrick May would surely approve of. Talismann, aka. Guy Blanken, aka. Makam, is the much travelled Dutch producer with a specialty for hypnotic drones, and apocalyptic rhythms. With a much beloved self-titled imprint distributed through Clone, Talismann makes his first foray onto the Dekmantel imprint with 'Aciano', a haunting series of raw acid, and prophetic beats. 'Sexual Frustration' by Matrixxman, is a continuation of the American producer's ever-growing relationship with Dekmantel. With three excellent EPs already released with the Dutch imprint – Nubian Metropolis, Sector I: Rhythm, and Sector II: Acid- the latest endeavour by Charles Duff highlights his analogue dexterity, when a soft-pallette of vibrant, almost electro-like sounds.

After throwing their first ever party in the Dutch capital a decade ago, Dekmantel have come to establish themselves in underground music. 2017 saw Dekmantel launch a new festival in Brazil, adding to their Dutch outing in, as well as their Croatian jaunt, Selectors. Going from strength to strength, the label kicked off their, ten-part EP series in March. With one EP released every month, the series has been embracing all the musical varieties Dekmantel has come to represent. Featuring label favourites, along with a whole bunch of new faces, iconic artists, and select debuts, the 10-year series is an, collection of timeless music that embraces everything they’ve done to date, while setting a precedent for things to come.

Up next from the Rhythm Büro label is an EP from Cyspe, who might be better known as Robin
Koek or for being one half of the almighty Dutch techno duo Artefakt. RB003 marks a special
occasion for the label in releasing a full EP from a single artist. After This World seems to proceed
forward fittingly on the same path once paved by Cyspe's debut record 'Amnesia', released on
Koek’s own label, Insula, in 2014.
From the label’s inception, Koek has been a supporter and close friend of the Rhythm Büro team.
Playing live at Rhythm Büro parties as Cyspe as well as live with Artefakt, the two have worked
and partied close together. A release from Cyspe became a very welcome natural step for all.
A1 bursts open with ‘Nexus,’ a cerebral-atmospheric-blanket of a dance track, arguably the
strongest offering on ‘After This World’. Apparently, quite the story can be told in just seven and a
half minutes for those attuned to listening. ‘Mindscape’ comes next, providing a notably nice
ambient contrast to its dance floor-feeding predecessor. A2 maintains a similar vein and flavor of
the sublime, if not a further development toward the heavenly and spiritual. The B-side proves to be
a prime example of what ‘deeper techno’ is capable of: grooves that drive the dancer from this
realm to the next. Both 'Earwitness' and the title track are sure to be rich vehicles for those sacred
'closed-eyes' moments on the dance floor.
