This song was recorded outside in the woods of New Hampshire in my Native American Labyrinth. If you listen closely you can hear the local blue jays calling in the background. I was originally inspired to write this piece after learning about the devastation brought by Hurricane Katrina. Since that time, has become a symbol for me of the helplessness I feel after any natural disaster... and so again ~ I find myself drawn to it as I think about the victims and survivors in the Philippines.

This is my first attempt using Audacity to create recordings. I used a canned version of the instrumental for "Only Time" by Enya and sang over it on a separate track then mixed it down and exported it to an mp3 file...here is the result.

This is a rough acoustic version of an earlier song written in the 1980's while my friend was walking across the country on the peace march...she played some of my music from the van. I was a single mom and having my music on the peace march was as close as I could get to the actual experience. This is the message I would have brought to Washington at the time, if I could.

This song was written in 1983 for my best friend, Carolyn who had moved away to California. I recorded it in Canada with my friend Glenn Larson. He let me use his 12 string electric guitar. We were just playing around, but never created a final version. Here is the result.

Blue Blue Moon 2015 -2015

This song was written in 1984 and recorded in St. Catherines, Ontario with my good friend Glenn Larson in his tiny studio. I lived State side and would cross the Peace Bridge and record nearly all night...then drive back at three or four in the morning. Once the boarder patrol made me come inside and wanted to listen to the tape we made. They thought I was coming over to play out and earn money...dream on. Great times. I have lost touch with Glenn. If you see this Glenn...please get back in touch!
