It was just over 2 years ago when i went for my first fomohomo party! It was my first time at a queer party and definitely not my last.

This mix was my attempt at capturing a compilation of emotions i have experienced at fomohomo’s parties. Euphoric, bouncy and definitely cheeky!

Proud champions of community and inclusivity, Lakuti and Tama Sumo are long-time Dekmantel favourites and true underground bastions. Deep diggers and lifelong collectors, the iconic Panorama Bar dup built a reputation for sets where pretty much anything goes, as long as it has soul. And the way they mix it, with a rare instinct that pull their crowds in deep is what makes them one of the most revered back-to-back duos in the scene.
This week’s mix is yet more evidence of that: over 80 minutes, they blend old and new. Rooted in house but shaped by global travels, it moves through soul-soaked broken beat, classic US depths and Afro rhythms – always carried by an emotional rawness that resonates. A masterclass in both selection and flow from two of the best.

Ciphered Dimensions Live Mixtape 2025 mixed by Disko Squeaker

A survivor of the Berlin Circuit, he is a literal university lecturer while holding down Taipei’s Pawnshop. It doesn’t get more legit than this. 

His vision: “I was thinking about Rosalía when I was preparing this mix... the mysticism, the rhythmus, the sentiment, the fierceness, the sexiness that oozes from the way she interprets her native language... So here it is, mi amor para Fomohomo Radio : ebbs and flows of vocals, machinery beats, and basslines with just enough sabor latino, but leaning more toward the sticky underground than the Carnaval.”

His tribute: “The last track is one that stirs memory. Here we have Shirley Kwan (關淑怡) covering one of Leslie Cheung’s (張國榮) most renowned songs—the ultimate queer icon who left us far too young. <B>Joris Voorn: "Here's the tape that made me wanna be a DJ.<B/>

Derrick May is one of our main headliners at Rejected's Amsterdam Dance Event 2012 night at Studio 80, 18th of october.
Since my early dj days, I consider Derrick May as a huge inspiration, and in particular this dj set. Broadcasted live in 1996 from the legendary Chemistry night at Escape, Amsterdam. It was recorded from midnight radio by my partner in crime Edwin Oosterwal who borrowed me the cassette tape which I never gave back to him, which reminds me I should do that sometime soon.

In this mix, Derrick May shows us that in 1996 dance wasn't pigeonholed to one style or sound. He mixes Moodymann's groovy deephouse with Jeff Mills and Surgeon's raw techno. He goes from Donna Summer's disco to Tyree Cooper's jacking electronic funk, from Masters of Work's new york house to Ian Pooley's epic chord techno. All of this is mixed in a fast and skillful pace, a style that so clearly carries Derrick's signature.

There's some truly magical moments in this mix, how he get's out of Surgeon's 'Syllable' into Global Communication's 'Sensorama' at 1:09 leaves me speechless..

Even though by now I know most of the record he plays here, there's still a few I've been looking since the very first time I heard this mix. Would be great to get the tracklist completed, any help is greatly appreciated!
