Hi Everybody, my seasonal MIMS show is back after a short break.

On this episode of MFT I’m very happy to welcome Malcolm Strachan, Scottish trumpet player and member of the Haggis Horns.

As usual I have selected my favorite recent discoveries like the spiritual jazz tracks fromy Àbájade, Jazz is Dead Feat Lonnie Liston Smith and Organic Pulse Ensemble.  I also included the amazing last tracks from the well known contemporary Jazz Artists Soul Supreme and Sven Wunder.

For his part, Malcolm Strachan has chosen for us some of his favorites and main influences tune including some great Trumpet and Sax players like Freddie Hubbard, Eddie Harris, Stanley Turrentine and the Master Dizzy Gillespie.

Originally scheduled for release in 1996, the album features Young Zee's trademark unique flow over top-notch production from Ski, Q-Tip and KRS-One, accompanied by guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, KRS-One and the entire Outsidaz crew (Pace Won, Rah Diggah, etc.) This essential release comes (for the first time) in a picture cover in an edition of 200 black copies and 200 color (green vinyl) copies.
