One year on since the first installment, the mighty Hot Creations turn up the heat as they get set to unleash ‘Hot Summer Jams 2’, featuring eight exclusive tracks from familiar faces and blossoming new talents.

The first half of the v/a welcomes back some favourite artists with the first track coming from label head and main man himself Jamie Jones, hot off the heels of some far reaching releases as Hot Natured and solo anthems. He delivers the storming future anthem, ‘Danger Mouse’. Next up Suara boss Coyu delivers ‘The Cat’ featuring the stunning vocals of Cari Golden. On an old school tip, New Yorker MANIK hits us with ‘Freak Your House feat. MC Kew G’ followed by a dance ready track from Alexis Raphael, who had his first track signed to Hot Waves back in 2011.

Dynamic duo Leftwing & Kody make their first appearance on the label as they team up with Cera Alba to deliver the heavy duty ‘I Got One Way’. Newcomers David Glass & CDC, Sean Branton and Neil Parkes also make their debuts on the label with serious impact. Bubbling with groove and energy, each of the tracks hold superior dance floor magic, road tested worldwide by the Hot Creations crew this summer, they are essential ammunition.

Co-founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, Hot Creations has been going from strength to strength since it’s creation in 2010, releasing a comprehensive catalogue of music from well known artists and breaking new talents who have gone on to be some of the biggest names in the industry today.

2015 has seen a wealth of new productions from Jamie Jones including a collaboration with Kate Simko and the London Electronic Orchestra on his new label Emerald City, followed by another huge hit from his band Hot Natured plus the release of ‘Siberian Express’, recently named Essential New Tune.

Born under the shade of the sails of Scampia, difficult neighborhood at the periphery of Naples. Born in 1980, she embarked on a career in the music world working very hard, starting as a waitress in many clubs and then as a dancer for several years. 
When she was a teenager she moved to Northern Italy for the high school, started a route into the world of fashion industry studying to become a fashion designer, but soon she understands that his path was in a completely different direction, enthusiasm for the night life in the local gave her the right reason to start a journey that now counts a lot of people who appreciate her, first of all for her talent. 
Came back soon to live in her hometown, Naples, who led Deborah to work on her knowledge into new music genres and trends, giving shape to a charisma that immediately has worked hard with productions signed by her as Sola_mente Records label founded in March 2013. No accurate depiction of electronic music culture would be complete without special mention of Deborah De Luca. Widely acknowledged as one of the most prominent flag-bearers for Techno globally and a regular fixture inside the world’s most distinguished DJ booths, Deborah has the unique ability to transfix crowds with her electrically charged, technically nuanced sets, fusing hard techno with minimal grooves and melodic soundscapes to absorbing effect. A pioneer in the use of social networks as a promotional tool, whilst somehow managing to retain a strong sense of discretion in her private life, Deborah is unrivalled in her determination and passion, earning every part of her current status as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the international Techno scene over the past decade.
Born under the shade of the infamous Vele di Scampia – one of the toughest districts in Naples – the now-globally recognised DJ, producer and label head came from humble beginnings, forging her path to international success against unlikely odds. However this was to become her making. “You shouldn’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t become”, she expounded in a rare interview, referencing her early livelihood as a nightclub dancer. “It’s true, in recent years I have gained popularity, but I am very grateful for the long journey it’s taken”. More than anything else, Deborah’s roots and her unwavering ethic are an integral part of the flourishing artist we see before us today.
Deborah spent the formative years of her musical career in Northern Italy, following a brief stint at fashion school in Modena. Cutting her teeth on the European club circuit, where she quickly realised music was her true calling, Deborah’s hard work and relentless determination eventually began to pay off and in 2013 she launched her very own imprint Sola_mente Records. Created as a platform by which to release her own music, free from creative pressure and external constraints, the label went from strength to strength and in November 2018, Deborah marked a decade-long career in the industry with the critically acclaimed release of her debut album ‘Ten’. A huge milestone for the Italian producer, ‘Ten’ represented an important rite of passage and a body of work that she would cherish indefinitely.
