„Techno Poem“ opens up the ep. It comes with a bubbling driving baseline and circulated hi hat elements which are creating a full body shake within the track. The beat structure starting with hypnotic pads which leads you into the crispy arpeggio sawtooth lead theme. Deep Male Vocals in a poetic art moves the track not even physically but also into mental experience.

„Dance With Demons“ starts with stomping heavy drums and a rolling low end. The whole is supported by distorted percussion and ruthless mini-breaks. Dark self recorded female low pitch vocals with different style of programming giving the listener the clear order to obey the dance floor. In contrast to the rough environment the epic pads and a beautiful sensitive melodie give the track an ambivalent feeling.

„Pushing On“ combines classic house with new school techno while adding also an extra portion sexiness. The catchy vocal deeply reflects its housy origin. The dna of the track is besides the vocal its groove programmed claps and the dark house chords. Within the track the listener will be surprised by breaks with guitar distortion pitch effects which will be followed by an explosive energy. (Patrik Berg)

Only five years on the production circuit the young and rising talent known and recognized under the name of Mirco Caruso already has been making some waves with quite a bunch of releases which rocked some serious crowds whenever they've been played out. So it's quite a pleasure to see Mr. Caruso return to Hive Audio with his newest outing that is about to leave a mark on this years late summer season.
The original version of „Sale El Sol“ defo fuses the proper bounce of stripped down TechHouse and the trippy, yet highly detailed production approach of Minimal Techno, serving haunting white noise filters, ghostly synth echoes and sweet percussion tweaks – all of this accompanied by unique, slightly shamanic vocals with a bit of a balearic twist. This one's taking you to new spiritual realms for sure.
Next up on remix duties is Reto Ardour who takes „Sale El Sol“ to a more pumping level with his interpretation. Picture muscular drums, epic bassline sweeps and a flickering layer of ever changing synths with a floating, levitating and maybe even early ProtoTrance-influenced approach adding some shimmering beauty and you'll be perfectly channeling this early morning future classic.
Finally we've got the 'Vincenzo D'Amico RMX' on this three track digital single which is surely focusing on the percussive aspects of the night. With a drum foundation reflecting the heat of South American club nights and a bassline funky as fuck this one's a massive turn on in its own right, even before the twisted and slightly filtered vocal bits come into play.

First Take

No accurate depiction of electronic music culture would be complete without special mention of Deborah De Luca. Widely acknowledged as one of the most prominent flag-bearers for Techno globally and a regular fixture inside the world’s most distinguished DJ booths, Deborah has the unique ability to transfix crowds with her electrically charged, technically nuanced sets, fusing hard techno with minimal grooves and melodic soundscapes to absorbing effect. A pioneer in the use of social networks as a promotional tool, whilst somehow managing to retain a strong sense of discretion in her private life, Deborah is unrivalled in her determination and passion, earning every part of her current status as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the international Techno scene over the past decade.
Born under the shade of the infamous Vele di Scampia – one of the toughest districts in Naples – the now-globally recognised DJ, producer and label head came from humble beginnings, forging her path to international success against unlikely odds. However this was to become her making. “You shouldn’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t become”, she expounded in a rare interview, referencing her early livelihood as a nightclub dancer. “It’s true, in recent years I have gained popularity, but I am very grateful for the long journey it’s taken”. More than anything else, Deborah’s roots and her unwavering ethic are an integral part of the flourishing artist we see before us today.
Deborah spent the formative years of her musical career in Northern Italy, following a brief stint at fashion school in Modena. Cutting her teeth on the European club circuit, where she quickly realised music was her true calling, Deborah’s hard work and relentless determination eventually began to pay off and in 2013 she launched her very own imprint Sola_mente Records. Created as a platform by which to release her own music, free from creative pressure and external constraints, the label went from strength to strength and in November 2018, Deborah marked a decade-long career in the industry with the critically acclaimed release of her debut album ‘Ten’. A huge milestone for the Italian producer, ‘Ten’ represented an important rite of passage and a body of work that she would cherish indefinitely.
