Difficult to pin down, Madrid-based producer Merca Bae’s sound was originally focused around dancehall and reggaeton and begun incorporating grime and dubstep influences into the mix following his brief move to London in 2016. As a producer, he became quickly known for his self-released edits and EPs as well as collaborations with the likes of Nick León, Bitter Babe, bk beats, Miss Jay, GAZZI and more. On Bandcamp and Soundcloud, you will find his Merca Zip’s series which has always been free as an ode to club culture and encourages donations to financially support the artists who take part in the project. His DJ sets have seen him play across Europe including Sonar, Rye Wax, Axis in Chengdu, Mexico City, and Nitsa Barcelona. 

Cited as one of the most ground breaking artists in the new generation of Madrid’s sounds we’re extremely excited to have Merca on the 909 mix series. In this 45-min session, Merca speeds through tracks from INVT, Mina & Bryte, Siu Mata & Amor Satyr, badista and more.

Keeping you on your toes through every twist and turn there's no pause for breathe until the last five minutes where he takes his foot off the gas - bringing the session to an end with a Kelela edit. 

About the mix, Dome Zero says, "Some good fun had erratically traversing the BPM range, armed solely with tracks from friendly faces and a belly full of tinned soup. Slow to fast as nature intended. Working title - panic attack at the disco!"

Earlier this year, Dome Zero made his release debut on All Centre with the killer Chewing The Scenery EP. In addition to this, he has previously contributed tracks on labels such as Accidental Meetings, Shubzin, Das Booty and more. A dreamy, oftentimes healing, after hours mix from Miami’s Jonny From Space. Woozy in feeling, the mix includes tracks from Tammo Hesselink, Lurka, RHR, Azu Tiwaline, Tano and Forest Drive West to name a few - leaving you in a daze. 

Speaking about the mix, Jonny says, “I wanted to play a slower mix because thatʼs just how Iʼve been feeling these days but with the body feel to keep everyone swaying and head bopping into the early morning hours after a long night. Lots of low end, sluggish, woozy, breaky dub techno to keep everyone on their toes.” 

Jonny From Space is very much on the rise right now on a global scale. A prolific producer who in the last two months has announced/released three records including the self-released ‘Spiral’, a collaborative EP with Coffintexts (out next week) and the highly-anticipated ‘No Swim Advisory’ EP which will be out next month via Danny Daze’s Omnidisc imprint - including a remix from the label founder himself. 

Outside of his productions, Jonny is a resident DJ and key member of Club Space and III Points Festival. He also co-founded the party series ODD (Objects Don’t Dance) with friends and collaborators Sister System and True Vine.

Argentinian DJ Blixa comes through with a power hour session filled with Latin American flavour for podcast 137, capturing his post-rave high. 

Speaking about the mix Blixa says, "filled with 100% LATAM ingredients this mix was recorded in the early hours of a Saturday morning for those who like mushrooms in their salad."

Based in London, Blixa is a producer and promoter who co-founded the Polar Dance series and is a resident on community radio station 1020. With his feet firmly planted within the London DIY community, he works behind the scenes for The Cause and is a graphic designer within the music industry doing the graphics for the likes of Metalheadz and Irish label Woozy. Last year, he released his debut EP on Argentinian label Vista Recordings which was supported by Inverted Audio. Definitely one to keep your eyes on!

A crunchy club-ready mix from Berlin-based producer Aroent who exercises his approach to improvisation featuring tracks from Leese, Splash Pattern, Forest Drive West, Bluetoof, Amaliah and more. 

Speaking about the mix, Aroent says, "This mix is mostly inspired by the club nights I've been doing lately and driven by my attempt to redefine my thoughts on club music. Quite a lot of variety in my opinion, some ups and downs that I've been really enjoying lately, less thinking and more improvisation than usual in my mixes."

Aroent is a Thessaloniki-born and Berlin-based producer and DJ. Since 2020, he has released 'Say' EP on Infinite Machine including a Ploy remix, 'Eleese' EP on Awkwardly Social and a contribution on Athens UHD compilation on Trial&Error. With support from the likes of Ben UFO, Mor Elian, Rhyw, Gramrcy, BBC 6 Music, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and more, Aroent has guested on shows such as NTS with Martha and Rinse France with Background and DJ Absurd.

A big landmark beckons, it's @doline's debut LP, with it also being the first time a LP drops on Grid. The french producer has been making quite a name for himself, an affiliate of Teki Latex's Sound Pellegrino crew and also dropping a fantastic EP on the France's best, Paradoxe Club in 2020. This new album sets new heights for Doline, his trademark sound & style is prominent within 'Dompte-regard', with his intricate sound design ever present. 
Throughout the LP, his synth work and captivating melodies make it glide between blissful home listening and adventurous club tracks. Fluctuating through tempo & moods with ease, 'Dompte-regard' could not sum up Doline any better, a truly fantastic representation of an extremely talented emo producer. 

For the first time this release will be also proposed in a CD version ! A beautiful object designed by Unité Services. A concept around transparency "to tame your sight". Only 100 copies available.
