A troubled time traveler from a terrible future is trying to warn us before it's too late to change. Wrought with sorrow and guilt, the messenger exposes their sense of futility, oscillating between apology and accusation. 

"Trouble" invites the listener to feel vulnerable and to empathize with the messenger, who suffers from their own humanity and systemic injustice.

Quarreling lovers? Oppressed justice seekers? A scientist without hope? The story transcends identity.

The instrumentation is as cool as the concept, with beautiful horn lines, cool syncopated vocals, ripping guitar, and a grooviest of rhythm sections.

Trouble

A funky, catchy, and sustainability themed album with a climate outreach agenda. The subject matter is resonant, and so is the music.

The album takes the listener on a journey. Starting from the Peoples Climate March in NYC, the listener embarks to Paris in December of 2015 to witness world leaders make decisions on global carbon emissions, and the general fate of humanity. From there, the story travels decades into the future outlining possible scenarios our generation will encounter.  

The subject matter is real, raw, and resonant; and so is the music. Upbeat, the music allows the listener to feel the intensity of the situation.
