GruuvElement’s links with Manolaco to deliver their collaborative ‘The Way You Love Me’ EP on Rebellion.  

Romanian-born, London-based DJ/producer GruuvElement’s has steadily been dropping stripped-back, crisp  productions on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Solid Grooves Raw, Deeperfect, MÜSE, VIVa and more while  crafting his ever-evolving take on percussive-driven house music. Up next, he joins forces with Clarisse Records  and Roush talent Manolaco once more for a trio of slick collaborations on their ‘The Way You Love Me’ EP via  Damian Lazarus’ impressive Rebellion imprint. 

Title track ‘The Way You Love’ Me is a track ‘created for quality dancefloors and real house lovers’ as resonant  vocals, delicate Balearic drums, and a killer bassline instantly catch the attention and allow the tracks infectious  groove to wormhole into the minds of the listener. Next, heads deeper into the night as chunky low-ends are  guided by playful guitar riffs, spiralling electronics and further hooky vocals, before the vibrant ‘Melancholy’ shapes  up the package as Latin-influenced percussion arrangements meet jazzy interludes and a commanding lead  Romanian flute for a captivating and moving final production.

Australia-based duo Lunar Disco land on Crosstown Rebels with new single ‘Devil’s Hands’, remixed by house heavyweights Luciano and Anthony Middleton.

Comprised of DJ and composer Nicolas Blistene and his singer-songwriter partner Kate Elsworth, Lunar Disco rose through the Parisian house scene but are now based in Australia, producing music that fuses live vocals and rich electronic textures. They veer towards the deeper, more sensual and playful end of the spectrum, while Kate has also been in hot demand as a vocalist by the likes of Deep Dish and labels such as Mobilee. Building on releases via Blond:ish’s Abracadabra Music, Kindisch and their own Suck My Disco imprint, late July welcomes a debut appearance on Crosstown Rebels for the release of their latest single, ‘Devil’s Hands’.

‘Devil’s Hand’ is a low-slung and sleazy take on indie disco. The bass is rough, with wild guitar riffs adding an extra layer next to the swinging, macho disco drums, while Kate’s steamy vocal brings inviting human soul as psyched-out guitars add a spaghetti western-style energy. The track then comes as a ‘Dirty Club Mix’ by Lunar Disco and Rebellion signee TAYA., opting for a rubbery groove for the back room, with moody bass and electronic pulses taking it deep into the night. 

Swiss-Chilean minimal maestro, long-time cult underground hero, and Cadenza boss Luciano heads up the B-side as he draws on his Latin heritage to cook up intricate percussive grooves across his remix to lock in listeners. His drums are rolling but heavy, and the claps and hits are layered carefully into an infectious tangle that never lets up. As both one half of Audiofly and on his own, final remixer Anthony Middleton has been at the heart of the house scene for many years, featuring as a vital presence in Ibiza each summer. His remix is sparse, with cosmic synths sequences unfolding over elastic drums and bass. It’s subtle but emotionally intense, and will make for a perfect late-night trip.

Saraga formed himself as part of the nightlife scene in Tel Aviv since he was 14 years old. Growing up behind the turntables of some of the most established clubs in Israel.

At the tender age of 16 he started producing his own music, developing his own sound & style. Saraga's passion for music had grown enormously. In 2011-13 he released tracks on Whitech Records, Mindsfere, 4Allrec, Baci Recordings & Plattenbank. Through hard work, dedication & commitment to his own unique sound, Saraga finds himself strongly aware that he was on the right path to where he needed to be.

2016 Saraga reached a new level being noticed by Hernán Cattáneo, where he was interested in 2 of his original tracks: ‘Till The End’ & ‘Love Song’ featuring the legendary singer Ofra Haza, which was released on Sudbeat Records. Following releases extended to Decay Records, SubSensual Records Monochrome & many more.

With a huge collection of original releases, remixes & collaborations, 2017 is there for the taking & looks to become Saraga’s break-through year.
