Lingdro Dechen Rolmo ~
Is a sacred dance, known by the name “Lingdro-Dechen-Rolmo” meaning the “Dance of Ling, Music of Great Bliss”. It is  sacred and powerful to avert obstacle and challenges in pursuit of the ultimate path, and also pacify and the current situation of the world. Sing and dance along this scared performance for healing, removal of obstacles and to invoke blessings.
 
There are eight chapters that originated from the pure vision treasure-teachings of the great Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche (1846-1912), who recognized King Gesar as the “Assemblage of the Three Roots” and king of the Dharma protector Drala Werma. 
 
Lingdro is one of the vital parts among numerous cycles of teaching and Sadhana practices of Mipham Rinpoche. Lingdro is a ritual dance that invoke the deity King Gesar of Ling, and which bestow blessings, strength, energy and courage.
 
The benefits of the Lingdro dance are the pacifying all of the negative influences of the time, place and to gain peace and prosperity. It is being performed to ensure that it will bring auspiciousness to all countries of the world, increasing peace and happiness within the minds of all humanity. 
 
It is an indispensable component of the many Sadhana practices bestowed by the enlightened warrior, King Gesar of Ling.

Lingdro Dechen Rolmo

The song is originally composed sung by Tibetan singer Sota. I reprised it for the love of the soul and fragile emotions it captures in its silky but fierce melodic expression.

This tune is inspired by “White Peony”, a popular Taiwanese song composed by Taiwanese Musician Deng Yu-Xian in 1936. I pay my deepest respect and gratitude to Deng Yu-Xian for this gem of a melody.
 
I also pay my gratitude to Bhutanese singer Lhamo Drukpa for introducing and popularizing this tune in Bhutan.
