About the demos...
Please keep in mind that these are instrumental "home demos." They were recorded track by track on an old BOSS BR900 digital 8 track unit (using the built-in drum machine). Nothing fancy.. just guitars and lots of pedals going straight into the BR900, with a simple drum loop (for each track). No amps, no plug-ins, and no copying and pasting parts. I didn't even use an actual bass.. it's just guitar ran through an octave pedal. Then, I mixed and mastered on the same BOSS unit. 

Hopefully, with a little bit of imagination
