Otaku Generation" is an 8-track journey through the media and stories that have shaped my life. It's a celebration of the anime, games, and Japanese culture that taught me lessons I carry with me today. This EP isn’t just about music; it’s about honoring the things that inspired me to grow. From childhood to the present, these stories have been my guide.

For Otaku Generation, I’ve decided to give it all—no hiding. This EP is deeply personal; it's me at my rawest, pouring everything I am into this project. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned, not just musically, but also emotionally. I’ve taken the styles of rave garage, jungle, breakbeat, and techno—genres that have allowed me to express myself in the past—and made them brighter, more hyper, and more chaotic than I’ve ever done before. Each track is a reflection of the world I see, with vibrant colors and pulsating energy.

This work wasn’t just about creating music. It was about fighting through one of the most difficult creative blocks I’ve faced in 18 years of making music. For a long time, nothing felt right. I felt drained, and it seemed like the music no longer spoke to me. But in the depths of that struggle, I realized the only way out was to create my own light. I needed to break free from the self-imposed limitations that were quietly suffocating me.

Otaku Generation became the light I created. It was a chance to create the music, the art, and the visuals I’ve always dreamed of. From designing the cover art to animating the music videos, everything in this EP reflects my journey. It’s a story of fighting through darkness, embracing the colors and sounds that have always inspired me, and putting 100% of myself into every detail.

This is not just an EP; it’s my soul laid bare. It’s a message to anyone struggling to find their creative voice: sometimes, the greatest act of courage is to simply be yourself. Otaku Generation is here to inspire you to put everything you have into whatever you create, to be unapologetically yourself in a world that sometimes tries to hold you back.

From his early days organizing underground events for high school friends in the late 2000s, Decion has carved out a place at the heart of Finland’s rave culture. Known for his trance-infused Hard NRG sound, Decion’s music is a unique blend of psychedelic tones with melancholic, uplifting atmospheres. 

He is the current label manager of FINRG Recordings, and curates talent for the Kosmos Festival, bringing fresh energy to the Finnish electronic music scene while honoring the roots of rave.

He values authenticity, urging younger DJs to approach the craft with humility and encouraging new ravers to explore the rich history of electronic music instead of today’s templated sounds. 

For Decion, it’s about fostering a culture of integrity, keeping the rave scene alive, raw, and real.
