You may know him from the sampled disco goodness on Toy Tonics, jazzy-house on SlothBoogie, or electro-tinged outings on Haws. Either way, with more than 15 releases to his name, it's clear that Jad is an artist who knows how to stay ahead of the game and sound fresh every time. More importantly, to do all this while maintaining an unmistakable signature sound. While he's not working on new lush EPs, Jad helps run his label Beats of No Nation with friends Luen and xxxxx, home to stellar releases from himself and many other talents. Today, he's bestowed us with almost an hour and a half of recent favourites, as well as having a chat to us about music, Berlin, the art of djing, and the not-so complicated secret to his perfect hair..

While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The first mix comes from Justin Strauss & Billy Caldwell, aka Love Tempo. Justin and Billy have been residents at the club since day one. Their parties in the Bad Room are non-stop fun, bringing together everything from new wave, techno and house to cosmic, acid and disco. Both legends of the scene, Justin came up in the 1980s playing around NYC like Mudd Club, Tunnel, Limelight and Area. BillyB made his name in Manchester at clubs like HOME, Hacienda & Paradise Factory.

This mix was recorded live when Justin & Billy opened for New Order at at the Roseland Ballroom in 2012.
