GUA combined the ideas of geometric symbolization and numerical combinatorics, from which the general theoretical numerological methodology (Xiang shu zhi xue) grew. Chinese tradition traces the origin of gua to the mythical origins of civilization - the activities of the first Emperor Fuxi, who used the revealed gua as paradigms in creating the foundations of material culture in accordance with the laws of nature. 🏵☯️💛🌌🙏🏼
