There are many different ways that the biosphere affects climate. Some produce greenhouse gases and promote warming of our planet through the greenhouse effect, while others reduce the amount of greenhouse gases promoting cooling of our planet. Thereby, by trapping heat, greenhouse gases contribute to our planet's warming and the biosphere provides the necessary environmental conditions for survival. And of course, Biosphere is the moniker of one Geir Janssen, who has been a constant influence on ambient music throughout his career. A note from the artist...
"I recorded this mix after a little timeout, away from the city. I called it "Stadtflucht" (I think exodus from the city is the English meaning). I escaped from an active construction site where I live and from the loud and crowded city. I think this mix reflects that. There is still some hum and distant noise, that seems to reverberate, but from a safe distance in a natural environment."

I introduce the “Stellar Series” with a mix of myself, devoted to some ambient pieces that I love to listen at the moment, and which represents well the spirit of Stellar Transitions. Concerning the photo, I took it in the Breton forest of Brocéliande, during a field recording session with my friend Alexandre Charpentier. The mix is ​​at the image of this day : a trip to a magical place, a communion with a mysterious nature marked by a fantastical historic footprint.

Every time I see the calm sea
I remember voices from my childhood,
I look for a word that was never spoken.

The sea is calm, like the face of a child after dark night’s
unrest. I love its breathing, the movement of waves, like a
mother’s breath, are so loving that in the past they

put out the alarm, the storm, the fears of childhood
and now calm some future alarm and fears and storm
off the whole world’s coast. Yes, that was the moment I found

a word that had been spoken only once, maybe, or was never
spoken at all. All these storms are in me now, that’s
why I’m calm, I am the captain of all calmness, mother.

Campfire Stories 82 (Across The Cosmic Land) by Saphileaum

Hello dear people. Here is the 50th episode of the Stellar Series. Is it the beginning of a new era, as we recently entered through the new age of Aquarius ? Only the sky and the light can bring the answer. 

This one is from Kolya Kalpa, a producer and selector from St Petersburg. , He have released two beautiful tracks on the great @tehnofonika label, and some beautiful deep techno and ambient podcasts. The one he made for the Stellar Series is very evocative in his way to think and arrange music - deep in all circumstances, going through ambient and immersive techno with subtil and different kind of rythmics, evocating an enlightened journey between the sky and the sea.
