In the labyrinthine streets of Hong Kong, Aubi-one, a French DJ with a mysterious past, reigns over the underground music scene. Behind the facade of ZHU ZHU, an enigmatic organization hosting events, his sets serve as a siren call to the disenchanted souls of the city. Raised amidst cultural clashes and shadowed by towering skyscrapers, Aubi-one's music echoes the dark underbelly of Hong Kong's secrets.

His curated playlists, meticulously woven with psychedelic rhythms and organic melodies, lure listeners into a hypnotic trance. But beneath the surface lies a sinister agenda, a clandestine manipulation of minds and emotions. As dancers lose themselves in the music's embrace, they unwittingly become players in a dystopian game, where reality blurs and illusions reign supreme.

In this world of neon-lit chaos, Aubi-one stands as both conductor and puppeteer, orchestrating a symphony of sound that reverberates through the city's twisted alleys. Behind the façade of charity lies a darker truth, where the boundaries between art and exploitation blur, leaving only the echo of his haunting beats lingering in the air.

Hot on the heels of Manuel Tur’s heavyweight vinyl reissue of his cinematic downtempo long player ‘Intertextural’ comes this package of remixes of four standout tracks by DJ Counselling, All is Well and Japan’s Yuu Udagawa.
 
London producer DJ Counselling opens the EP with his energetic version of ‘Omina’, raising tempo and hands with an expertly executed arrangement, while the newly added filtered synth chords echo some of Tur's best-known releases of the late noughties. Next up is Montreal’s Frédéric Blais aka All Is Well.  After his recent album success on Drumpoet, and his current long player drop under his Fred Everything moniker, the Canadian master producer turns up the heat on ‘Flakon’ flipping it into a head-nodding groove masterpiece that recalls the subtle 90s trip-hop flavour of the original version. On the B-side, Tokyo native Yuu Udagawa - who has collaborated with Tur on several occasions - unleashes two shimmering, ethereal remixes of ‘Slow White’ and ‘Shadowgraph’ that guide the listener on a floating journey through Yuu’s signature sparkling sound.

LA based producer and DJ Choopsie returns to blistering form with her dreamy new Reflections EP, her second instalment with UK tastemaker label Silver Bear Recordings.

The announcement arrives with brand new single ‘Reflections’ - a euphoric statement consisting of electro pads and blissful synths, which transcend into a joyous breakbeat infused groove. An atmospheric opener which certainly sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

The release marks a departure of the sounds Choopsie has become accustomed to. Inspired by a year away from her native LA and residing across Europe, the EP is a culmination of sounds absorbed along the way;

@RoeDeers is a Lithuanian-based audio-visual project led by Liudas Lazauskas. Liudas first started DJ’ing at his parents’ club at the age of 12 while. On the Independence Day of Lithuania He picked an oddly folkloric name and that was the start of the Roe Deers project. While most of the electronic music follows a clear and often monotonic pattern, you never know what you will get from Roe Deers. . One thing for sure, is he employs all shades of love in his shows so that the only response you can give him is dance.
