After opening up the account on their new label earlier this year, Krankbrother return to the imprint with two new tracks, which show off the differing shades of their musical dexterity.

Up on our Debut Transmission is A-side ‘When You’re Watching Me’, a fully formed Summer belter, which ticks all the boxes required for a modern day, sunrise dance classic. A thunderous sub-bass line booms over delicate drums, the percussion lightly soaked in reverb as the filters open and close on the soft & melodic arpeggiated riffs.

All the hallmarks of a classic piece of euphoric electronica are here, best exemplified by the syrupy female vox and Balearic tones, and a hefty breakdown that really ramps up the drama. Shades of the 90’s big guns like Underworld and Fluke are here, but perhaps more in the grandiose style in which ‘When You’re Watching Me’ has been delivered, either way, it’s most certainly one of Krankbrother’s best to date.

In between, he has toured extensively, intoxicating dancefloors across the USA, Japan, Europe and Russia and amassed a portfolio of stellar remixes.

With his new compilation, "Best of Patrick Chardronnet,"  the spirit and highlights of Patrick's outstanding career are highlighted, taking you from 'Ledge' - the debut that brought him to the attention of Poker Flat label boss Steve Bug, its booming menace and power undimmed - to two new exclusive tracks, fresh off the press and shortly to be featured on a brand new EP: the bobbing, deep hypnotism of 'Wobbler' and the downtempo 'Slowmo' - a masterclass in melancholy and meditative house.

Needless to say the rest of the anthology is all killer no filler and today, we are proud to premiere Patrick's reworking of  'Almost Nothing' by Adultnapper (aka Francis Harris of Frank & Tony). The third track off the compilation is a skilfully layered dancefloor bomb, bound by its simple, yet brutally effective synth riff.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups.
