El track arranca con un beat sólido, empujado por un bajo profundo que sostiene el armazón rítmico. La progresión armónica —con acordes en loop constante— establece un colchón emocional donde el sintetizador principal despliega una melodía directa y altamente recordable. The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Steyoyoke thanks you, our old and new fans, for the substructure of love and support upon which this label is built. We bring you ultramodern remixes of our liveliest tracks from 2015 on the latest EP, Steyoyoke Anniversary Vol. 04, to celebrate the new year, including remixes by: Philipp Kempnich, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, MIDAS 104, and Jonas Saalbach.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with a lethal new two track EP led the label bosses themselves. The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Astre', and it comes strapped an inimitable remix from ethereal techno master and founder of Steyoyoke; Soul Button.

'Astre' is a memorable melodic anthem with a signature groovy rhythm, it's certain to light up the dance-floor.

Since 2016, Soul Button has only ever released music via his own label, so it is a very special occasion as Hicky & Kalo welcome him to the ranks of Plaisirs Sonores. His remix of 'Astre' is a beautiful dreamy piece with angelic bells and hypnotic shakers.

The team of Felix and Yannek Maunz give their debut on the infamous label Katermukke.  After a few collaborations of the two producers and live acts from Berlin, they gave rise to their track 'Choices'. A melancholic symphony which carries Felix voice and delivers a chiming groove of a deep and dancy dream. The warm and blistering „Synth Sequence“ on the drop definitely gives the track its characteristic sound and touch.

„Choices“ is Part of the EP „Shining One“ which also includes two tracks of Daniel Jaeger and Cook Strummer.
