This song was written and recorded by Li Makana, for Melissa Goodblanket in tribute to her son Mah-Hi-Vist (Redbird)/Touching Cloud Goodblanket who lost his life to the Custer County Police Dep. In Dec, 2013. This song is to raise awareness of his death, the police brutality on native youth, native people in general, and people of color in general. This will shed light on the facts, and tribute the 18 year old Cheyenne native in his journey to the spirit world through the Medicine.
