At 2 pm, @servei delighted us with a set of trance, progressive trance, and house at around 130 BPM, where he made the perfect mix between new and old tunes. Also he took the opportunity to play tracks from the EP he just released on Organic Signs' label a few weeks ago.

decompression session 005: DJ Ayran

Amin (@amino785) is a DJ based in Berlin and co-founder of the party series FreeDimensional. In his collection and mixing, he usually explores a wide range of genres but is often drawn to deep melodies. The mix explores the interplay of dubby sounds and percussions, with some sidetracks into other styles. It also showcases some of his favorite L.B. Dub Corp records, who was decisive in getting him excited about collecting music in the first place.

Flo aka Florian Pas (@florian_pas) is a Berlin-born artist & co-founder of the ATARAXIA collective. In this podcast for decompression, Florian Pas takes a step away from his usual high-energy sound to explore a more introspective and textured musical journey. In a world that’s growing ever faster and more hectic, this mix offers a refreshing pause, moving away from quick consumption toward something deeper and more deliberate.
Breaking from his signature BPM range of 143–145, Florian Pas crafts a set filled with warm, dubby beats and deeply emotional tones. The slower tracks and extended transitions harken back to the club sound of 2013–2020, evoking a sense of nostalgia while offering something fresh and heartfelt.

Aachen-raised and Berlin-based, aykanakdag (@aykanakdag) is a producer, live performer, and DJ known for his bass-driven electro and breakbeat tracks, released internationally and through his self-release AYK series, where he collaborates with different visual artists for each release. From playing in basement parties to performing live with a symphony orchestra, he has proven his skills over the years, refining a sound that delivers UK- and electro-influenced broken beats and bass-heavy, percussive soundscapes. With new tracks on the way, he continues to push his evolving style.

Pancake 020 - Roko

toploader (@toploading) is rooted in the now-defunct family of Fluid Festival (R.I.P.), having made early appearances alongside his bestie dj fako at Hamburg’s club institution [PAL] in 2022, followed by gigs at Jupiter, Callshop & Sicnal Radio, Akashic Records, and Paloma. These days, he’s shifting into more introspective territory, curating ambient and listening sessions with events with Transmute in a questionable attempt to rebrand himself as “thoughtful.”

Musically, he has (allegedly) matured — drifting away from uninspired 4/4 techno and house toward deeper, more hypnotic, and non-linear soundscapes. Think dubby textures, tribal rhythms, and percussive, reverberated deep techno — because nothing screams originality like dramatic, cinematic pads and echoes.

He most definitely does not break boundaries or bend genres. Instead, he plays what he likes (and what he almost certainly shazamed off someone else’s digging efforts). Toploader values about flow, cohesion, and subtlety. Neither especially known for his stellar mixing nor his careful selections, he’s presenting to you today: all things dub.
