Groovy set! love this kind of play style.

This mix features some of my favorite tracks from the first five years of DJing (2006-2010). The concept for this pandemic project was a greatest hits of sorts from my early sets, but a little slower and better mixed. (Fun fact: my original DJ name was Mix Meister Zarg, which I quickly realized was the worst DJ name ever and shortened to MMZ.)
 
This mix is dedicated to Liliana Wills who provided early encouragement and suggestions as I taught myself how to DJ whilst we stayed home with our firstborn. 

With special thanks to:
-	Patrick Johnston (aka Allegro) who was there at the beginning and continues to be a mentor
-	Tim Penner whose quick mixing tutorial gave me some ideas to finally finish this mix off

Biography:
“TanzBarKeiten” a german Word for “very good danceable tracks with strong rhythms and melodies” !

In 1995 I was 17 years old and I got from my Mom 2 Omnitronic Turntable and a Killswitch Mixer from Gemini;-) After 1 Year I had taught myself the DJing and then I produced the first Tapes under my first DJ name DJ Wes and later under Fry Dijon and DJ Rooker. Later, more and more tapes followed just only under my other alias Fry Dijon & Rooker.

Some of my first Vinyl’s what i bought was from X-Traxx Records. DJ Misjah & Groovehead so damn good Techno and Acid ;-), Alex Christensen (U96-Das Boot) Oh God, so fuckin long Time ago...and for sure, Nathalie de Bora with ‘’Heart but House’’ and ‘’Frisco Street Riders’’, ‘’Living on Video’’ etc. p.p. and also Cosmic Baby, Joey Beltram, Westbam, Marusha and soooo many more from the good old Times, ‘’ The 90’s ‘’ ;-) .

My former DJ Idols was DJ Aphex, DJ Jordan, DJ Jauche, DJ F/X aka DJ Felix F/X and later Felix FX, PJ NFX, DJoker Daan, DJ Dash (Tresor) and naturally Laurent Garnier, Monika Kruse and Sven Väth, Mitja Prinz, Elbee Bad, Steve Mason and many more DJ's to mix at the middle - End-/ of the 90's and especially at Tresor, Hafenbar, Delicious Doughnuts, Lime Club.

Not so long ago, I selling my Tapes in trendy Fashion Stores made me a little better known as a DJ and soon followed the first appearances in Clubs like the Tresor (Leipziger Straße), Matrix, E-Werk, a lot of private Party's and etc. etc. etc.! Until 2004 I was very active as a DJ. Due to my former job and a later foundation of my family, I had a very long break.

Now in 2018, after 14 Years, I’m back under my new Name T.B.K. = TanzBarKeiten  but of course, when I play Minimal/Deep Tech - Techno or Groove-Funky-JackinHouse-Disco Music under my other 2 DJ Names Rooker & Frank Flanger.

Biography -
Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream.

This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind.

2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream.
Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force.

Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno.

Bio:
Nathalie Field aka DJ Natii-Lee, has exploded onto the Charlotte, NC scene over the past couple of years. Since childhood, music has been a huge part of her life, but her true passion lies with electronic music; specifically techno, trance, and house. Her talent has already been recognized overseas by the likes of Beenoise Records as an International Guest DJ on Beenoise Attack, as well as winning the Gulf Coast DJ Connection 4th of July Remix Contest and featuring several times on the Element Lounge podcast. With many live performances already under her belt and more to come, the sky is the limit!

Born in Holland in a military family she traveled Europe then landed in the US and found home in Charlotte, NC. Finding EDM at a young age she started listening and engaging in the scene in the 90’s. She works as a Landscape Designer and on her free time produces and creates mixes for a number of guest podcast while also having opening duties for several international headlining acts. Accomplished DJ/ Producer with 3+ years of experience. Skilled performing in Techno, Tech House, House, Progressive House and Trance. Performing as Natii-Lee as a solo performer and Steely in Steely and Bardez working as a Husband-and-wife duo that blends the Steely beats of techno with the uplifting melodies of trance, which originated in Bardez, India.

◾How and when did you get into djing: I started playing records in the 90’s but stopped shortly after. March 18th 2019 (yes I remember the date) I started playing on my now husband’s controller! 

◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration: I have so many … 
Space 92, Leandro Taibbi, AnthonyFCollins, Brennen Grey, Marsh, Yotto, Jeremy Oleander are just a few!! My inspiration is joy! Music bring me joy and that’s what I strive for on a daily! 


◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I play techno, progressive house, and trance on any given day! 

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist: I’m busier than ever and humble to where and what I’ve achieved in such a small amount of time. Ion just going to keep going and see where it takes me.
