Catalogue number 6 from Dedicate highlights a reissue from a timeless beat mixtape dropped in a pre-streaming era in 2012. The original 2rbostatic was released as a handmade USB flash drive/Cassette tape hybrid in combination with a free download. For the first time now the remastered version will be on vinyl.

On 50 minutes playtime @kollegeschnuerschuh expresses his affection for Hip-Hop with 27 (almost) exclusively instrumental tracks representing the full spectrum of musical influences in all shapes and forms. A short entertaining journey through MPC sampling and synth sounds with an extraordinary love for details.

The 25th release to come from Footjob, we are looking on a delicious eight track compilation which is guaranteed to bring heat to the dancefloors. Footure Classics Vol. 3 combines the label’s beloved quality sound of our resident artists and also welcomes a few new faces. The opener “Carry On” is delivered by The Dead Rose Music Company and sets the pace right away showcasing some good old on-point sample work. Head honcho Phonk D contributes two danceable collaborative tracks with Van Aachen (“Make A Change”) and Sascha Ciminiera (“Ortona Sunset”). Siggatunez and Rolf Royce also opt for a joint tune called “What We All Want” – a dreamy, yet still banging anthem for those special moments in the morning hours. Exploring new musical grounds, Lukas Lehmann puts his synths into heavy action for a stomping acidy approach, ironically dubbing it “No Sir, I Can’t Acid”. For those into Nu Disco Claus Casper serves his inciting and fun “Spaghetti Eyes” while Disco Sour provide a contemporary edit based on a 40-year-old classic. The compilation is rounded off by Most Haunted, who gently takes us back to 80s vibes with his "Timemachine", without missing to give the whole thing a modern twist.

Based in Darmstadt in Germany Phonk D has a colourful musical background. Falling in love with house and techno in 1995 he was a regular at legendary Frankfurt clubs Dorian Gray and Omen, closely studying how their DJ’s built an electric atmosphere. This crash course in Djing lead to him to become a huge vinyl enthusiast which in turn would lead to him organising his own parties and a job working in a record store.

All along he would keep feeding his love of disco and funk, constantly adding to his burgeoning record collection. Fast forward to 2014 and this love of electronic music would come to the fore again and Phonk D would found his own Footjob label which would allow him to release his own tracks and those of like minded individuals.

Phonk D, born Dirk Bretträger, is a German DJ, producer, and label boss known for his signature blend of house, disco, funk, and deep grooves. Based in Darmstadt, he launched the label Footjob in 2014, a home for soulful, underground house music. He also co-founded Dedicate with Jofeca, focusing on instrumental beats and more experimental cuts.

Dirk’s journey began in the '90s within Frankfurt’s legendary club scene, where venues like Dorian Gray and Omen sparked a lifelong love for electronic music. This passion soon evolved into a career rooted in vinyl culture, party organization, and groove-driven sound. His deep respect for records and analog vibes has earned him recognition across the global house scene.
