Born in Memphis, Tennessee as the middle child of three brothers and reared in Hernando, Mississippi, Christopher “Yung Track” Currie’s obsession for music began at an early age. He was mostly influenced by the Gospel music played by his Aunt Mary Lillian Lesure and Grandmother Barbara Person Currie on the piano and organ at their Baptist Church. Their Gospel chords and progressions helped nurture his budding musical interest.Chris was able to intercept certain formulas of music from different genres at high volumes. Musical influences include producers such as, Blackout, Drumma Boy, Brian Michael Cox, and Johnny Juiano.
Chris is continuing his career alongside his brother, Corderro “Mac Derro” Currie. Together, they formed the “90‘s Baby Coalition”
