Moonlight Hot Skates Showdown

A lone mariner plays his cello as the crew freezes in the arctic.  The ships trapped in the winter ice fail to discover safe passage.  A drummer plays as they try to pull their life rafts, now sleds, across the expanse in search for safety while the north wind howls.

My (Dea Decay) cover of Dayz N' Daze - Misanthropic Drunken Loner.  I love this song (and album).  I could have really gone all out with the synths but I started with it in this lofi almost ring tone sounding voice, initially just so I could make sure I was getting the notes right but fell in love with how happy and upbeat it sounded and went with it.  Yes it is my ringtone now.  Listening to it just makes me really happy ^^

Dea Decay & MetuSynth - Post Party Depression (Cover Of Days N Daze)

NB trans girl from NY now Tampa.  I play synths and drum machines.  Anything you hear on here was either done with my software or hardware synths, occasionally using samples.  

Inspired to play synths by sci-fi sound tracks and other trans women I'm friends with who play.  I share a birthday with Wendy Carlos so I guess it was in the stars?  Trans girl, into synths & making electronic music.  Apart from soundtracks most of my inspiration comes from cold wave, darkwave, post punk, synthwave, low-fi, gothic & punk music.  

If my solo work has slowed a bit I was away on vacation, and shortly after getting back I joined a band.  I am still working on my solo stuff though and have big plans for 2020 musically.
