DeeDee, AKA Daniele Pontecorvo, has discovered his passion for clubbing and for djing since he was only 14 years old. In those early years, he collaborated as a young PR in memorable clubs of Rome such as Epoca, Piper, Alien and Joy. But his love for House music was born and further grows after the first summer spent in Ibiza, where he has the opportunity to watch live performances of international DJs such as Masters at Work, Erik Morillo, Frunkie Knuckles, Tony Humpries and many others. The incredible emotions felt during that summer mark DeeDee profoundly and from that moment on, House Music and DJs become his greatest passion. During that same year, he spends New Years Eve at the Ministry Of Sound in London, another music temple, where a dj set by Masters at Work, his first and absolute legends, strikes him completely.
In the following years, his passion becomes even stronger and music experiences continue. In 2004 he becomes part of Truman, a group of friends with whom he shares the passion for clubbing and the emotions of House Music. Rome, Ibiza, Miami, London, Amsterdam, New York, and Bali are only some of the places Truman travel to, to live the emotion offered to them by their favorite djs: Masters At Work, Denny Tenaglia, Kerry Chandler, Body & Soul with Danny Krivit-Joe Claussell-Francois Kevorkian, Dennis Ferrer, only to mention a few. The experience of these nights out with his friends and the fascination provoked by the performances of these DJs, create in DeeDee the desire to try. In 2005 therefore, almost as a game, with the vital help and support of his old friend DJ Trufo, aka Gianluca di Chiappari, DeeDee starts buying his first music, mixing his first sessions, emulating his favorite DJs actions. 
Since 2007 DeeDee collaborates with DJ Trufo in the planning of I Love Cicle, the first and only parties in Rome dedicated to people who share the passion for House/Deep music, characterized by the presence of the top international DJs. Many of these nights are “opened” by DeeDee’s music, who gains more and more experience. He often plays with his friend-mentor Trufo, opens to DJ of the degree of Frankie Feliciano, Riky Morrison, Karizma, and Bobby D’Ambrosio and lastly Martinez Brothers in London. 
DeeDee’s music is featured by an eclectic style, he is inspired by the music of his favorite DJs, and ranges from Classic House to Deep House, lately exploring also Tech House and Deep/Techno. Today, the DJs he admires the most are Dixon, Soul Clap, Derrik May, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Loco Dice, Willy Graff , Art Department, Damian Lazarus, The Martinez Brothers, Jerome Sydenham and of course his menthor Trufo.
There is no specific genre that inspires his sessions, albeit one common denominator: the emotions that the tracks he plays arise in him. You will see him dance with his eyes closed jumping up and down during his sets, trying to live what music transmits to him all of the way.
