This album is named after the keyboard which the majority of the sounds on this album come from. The Casio CT-6500 was released in 1986 and has lots of basic synth sounds and a modest amount of pre-programmed drum beats. I used these sounds and drumbeats to craft together tracks which make up the album. There is recorded bass on a couple tracks, and some Ableton sounds used to fill the gaps I felt was missing, but other than that, it's all the CT. This album was created in my basement in 2022, and shortly after completing the tracks my laptop was destroyed (it melted on the inside) and I had to put the project to bed for some time. Now, I have a new laptop and thanks to the help of ozone 9 was able to master the tracks into what I think is a complete piece. I would define this as lo-fi music, which to me means creating something without the expenses of a major studio or the pressure to make something profitable or competitive. Lo-fi means that music is for all people to create, not just the professionals. Please listen, comment, share, and enjoy something which I had a lot of fun producing.
